  Extremely disappointing experience.
  We had 6:30 PM reservations and were seated promptly. It was a fixed-price menu, and we ordered right away. We received our drinks and soup, but after waiting about 90 minutes with no entrée, I asked for an update and was told it would be coming out soon. Ten minutes later, we were informed they had run out of steaks. After such a long wait with no communication, we decided to leave.

  I have to give the BIGGEST shoutout to The Helmway Restaurant for truly making my sister’s wedding unforgettable.
  
  Chef Will was beyond amazing and accommodating From the very beginning, he worked with us to create the PERFECT menu and made the entire process feel so smooth and stress free. He wasn’t just focused on the food, he genuinely cared about every detail of our event. Anything we needed, he was there to help without hesitation, and that level of dedication is so rare. You can tell he takes real pride in what he does, and it shows in everything he puts out.
  
  Now let’s talk about the food…ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE. Every single dish was flavorful, fresh, and beautifully prepared. The portion sizes were also amazing, our guests were more than satisfied and definitely not leaving hungry.
  
  Even right after the wedding, guests couldn’t stop talking about how delicious everything was and how much they loved the food. Chef Will truly exceeded all expectations and played such a huge role in making the day so special.
  
  If you’re considering dining here or hosting an event, do not hesitate. The Helway Restaurant delivers not just great food, but an incredible experience.

  A great option for anyone staying at the Pell or just looking for a delicious place to eat! My husband and I both ordered the Mahi Miso and it was very flavorful and well portioned. Our drinks were also very good- I ordered a mocktail while my husband ordered a beer. For dessert I got the key lime pie (it was so good I forgot to take pictures) and my husband ordered the bread pudding, which he also enjoyed very much. When we arrived we were the only people there for a while and our server was very friendly and attentive. If I had any feedback at all it would be that I was hoping the entree price might include a side (or some table bread or something) but we’re from out of state so maybe that’s just not a thing here. Still we had a great time and would recommend!

  Was staying at the Pell for a business trip, and the Helmway was great! The atmosphere is very relaxing; they even had different events throughout the week. The bartender, Lynn, was so friendly and made perfect drinks and was so accommodating. The food was outstanding. Highly recommend if you are in the area.

  Their breakfast is delicious and relatively average price. My go to was the breakfast sandwich, but the other alternatives like the French Toast and breakfast burrito was equally good!
