  Weekly staple for us! I LOVE the veggie bomb, the corn salsa, the plantains. And I still have SO much more to try. Great quality. Consistency delicious. Appreciate you guys!

  I love this place so much. Best BBQ pulled pork mac and cheese, it’s amazing. I love that I can get an acai bowl as well as a side of chips. I wish i could just put food shack in my pocket and take them with me wherever I go🩷

  San Diego resident and Missouri native here - exposure to excellent BBQ and well crafted meals is not new. This place is dynamite! Pulled pork atop the perfectly cooked sweet potato & brussels made for a naturally delicious power bowl. If you’re anywhere within 50 miles of this place, plan a drop in.

  this place used to be my go to for pitaya bowls, but they’ve gone so downhill over the past couple of years. yes, i’m a picky eater who doesn’t like granola, so that’s why there’s none in the pics. my main complaint is the quantity, they used to be very generous with fruit toppings, but today i got hardly anything, and one strawberry is very clearly rotten. when you order online, it says you get a generous amount of sorbet base, but they really didn’t give me much today.
  
  i hate to say this because i really want to support local, but playa bowls will be getting my money going forward. they serve their bowls for the same price, same quality, but they give you so much more product.
  
  the food shack still has a great vibe, kind staff, quick service, and they keep their restaurant very clean. i just wouldn’t recommend their pitaya/açaí bowls.

  One of my favorite lunch spots in Newport/Middletown! Love their bowls and açaí bowls. Their plantains are the best.
  
  Also one of my favorite spots to order on Uber Eats as the food travels very well, even the açaí bowls
