  The View hosted our Hingham High School class of 1995 30 year class reunion the day after Thanksgiving and it was the perfect spot. The communication and booking with Cathleen was the kind of customer service you dream about. She went above and beyond to ensure all of our questions were answered, provided photos and videos of the space, and the set up was fantastic for our group. She also helped walk through the menu options, made suggestions and she made sure everything was set up with the bar tenders and kitchen! She even helped us with a special dessert option! The holiday decorations were so festive and really jazzed up the space! The food was all excellent and the cheese board was beautiful and quite tasty. Feedback from the 80+ guest wasnvery positive and we could not have asked for a better venue! Would book it again for our next reunion or special event! Bill the owner was so friendly and helpful! Then entire staff made it a night to remember! Thank you to The View.

  We rented The View out for our parents' birthday and everything was excellent. Our parents could not have been happier with the party, and suggested that they now knew where they'd start in a search for any future parties. Cathleen was a pleasure to work with in coordinating the party, and once there, the manager Bill and bartender Ashley were friendly and accommodating to any requests. As I understand, they decorated the place for Christmas the day prior, and everything looked great. We had approximately 50 people, and it was the perfect size. Highly recommend!

  We were there at night time so I don't really see any view. The burger slides were good. The rolls were very fresh & soft, but the meatballs were very salty. It's a place to drink at bar.

  We hosted a recent baby shower at the View for 45 women. The food was great and our guests raved about the homemade meatballs and vodka sauce and the delicious chicken piccata! Working with Billy, the owner, Cathleen, his administrative assistant and Ashley at the bar, our service was excellent and all of our questions were answered no matter how insignificant they seemed. The September weather was spectacular and the view of the golf course was beautiful! I recommend this location for great service, great food and great memories made!

  We rented out The View’s Tavern for our son’s first birthday party this past Saturday. From the first phone call to the last email, the owner Billy and his administrative assistant Cathleen, have been nothing but kind, helpful, and accommodating. The room was perfect for our family and friends (we had about 50 adults and about 12 kids). The patio was closed as it is the winter but I’m sure the room is even better when the patio is open in the warmer months. The cook made some delicious food that everyone loved - especially the meatballs. I chose to do stationary food options but you can also choose to do buffet style or passed hors d’oeuvres. The drinks from the bartender were great as well! Highly recommend The View if you’re looking for a room to rent for a party/gathering.
