★ 5So delicious I actually cried. Upbeat, friendly waiter Elijah kept us on our toes with his quick wit and rapid-fire menu recitations. When I took the first bite of the beans/rice from the Calentádo bfast plate, tears actually sprung to my eyes bc it reminded me so strongly of the home cooked Mexican meals I enjoyed when I lived across the border. Kinda embarrassing but true. Yummy aguapanela (cane sugar/lime drink) too. Def will come back.

★ 5This is my first time there. I was very pleased with the food in the atmosphere. The service was excellent. The gentleman who waited on me. Unfortunately, I didn't catch his name, he's said he been there for 16 years. He did an excellent job. He made me laugh and that's always a good thing. I will go back again. I didn't order anything. Fancy. Just eggs, bacon, toast. I definitely recommend the fresh squeeze orange juice, delicious.

★ 2The hospitality was really good and the place was clean. However, we mainly come for the food... My husband ordered a spinach egg but the cooker forgot to put the spinach in it so my husband got them on the side. The eggs were completely tasteless, no spices, just eggs. The French toasts were super dry when they should not be, almost like the cook tried to « save » some mixture and just lightly put the toasts in it. The fries were not too bad, as for the pancakes.
That being said, this place really has potential. The waiter was really really nice with us, but the kitchen has to follow that quality of service. Good thing is, the restaurant is really opened to feedback and you can even earn $30 (at least last time I went) just by giving your feedback. It seems like it’s a new management and the new owner is really trying to renew the place. If you read this and wonder, give them a chance, as I said, they seem to care about feedbacks, I’m sure they will do an update on the cooking part! Last thing, it’s a really cool spot to be at, to have a drink, work or talk. I may try it again one day and update this review. -

★ 4It was a pleasant experience and very cozy. I thoroughly enjoyed the people I was with so I’m possibly being generous. The food was good and the servings matched the pricing. The service was okay, somewhat delayed at times and language did seem to be a barrier. If you speak Spanish, your experience may be different. The drinks are okay and the menus were kind of sticky (needed a cleaning). Thanks.
