  One expression: wow 👌 👏 😍nnIt was a phenomenal breakfast with yummy Venezuelan corn pancakes packed with beans, super tasty plantains and thick slice of cheese. It comes with three sauces that perfectly matches with the flavor.
  
  The ambiance is unique and pleasant and the server is very friendly. And did I mention that it is a great spot for a vegetarian 😀

  Encuentro was a pleasant surprise! I had not heard of this spot until a friend recommended it. Old Town has several options for food, but this is a hidden gem. I ordered the Encuentro Board and the La Americana Arepa. The board had several tasty options and they were all unique and delicious. The mini pancakes were so delicatable and didn't even need syrup. The breakfast arepa was another great option that tasted similar to a breakfast burrito, yum! The customer service here was also top notch. Adriana was our server and she made this meal a great experience. She answered all of our questions and made sure that we had everthing we needed. I will come back.

  I ajd the vegetarian Arepas. It was good and the sauces they give with it were amazing. The service is good.
  I am giving lesser stars though because it is too expensive for the simple food. 1 Arepa + 1 diet coke set me back 30$ with tipp. Not worth it.

  My experience at Encuentro Cafe was absolutely amazing! The quality of the food was outstanding, fresh ingredients, beautiful presentation, and every dish full of flavor. You can truly taste the Venezuelan l care and passion that goes into every plate.
  
  What made the experience even more special was the service, especially from Laura, the best restaurant server ever! She was incredibly attentive, kind, and professional. Laura made us feel genuinely welcomed, anticipated everything we needed before we even had to ask, and brought such a warm and positive energy to our table.
  
  Exceptional food and top-tier service. I highly recommend Encuentro Cafe and will definitely be coming back!

  We loved this restaurant so much that we came back again the next day just before our flight! Amazing food, very friendly staff, great ambiance. We were there for brunch on a Monday and Tuesday and there was no wait at all. Their arepas are st￭ to the brim and one is enough for an entire meal!
  
  On Monday, we got the El Vainero cachapas with fish, Reina Pepeda arepa, guanabana (soursop) juice, hot Mexican spiced mocha, and Quesillo (similar to a flan) for dessert. On Tuesdays they have half off four of their arepas, so we got one of each: Reina Pepeda, La Americana with sausage, Pelua, and La Vegana, more guananaba juice, passion fruit mimosa, and the Arroz con Leche.
  
  Location wise it's in a really convenient spot close to Old Town and the airport. We took a ride share both times but there was lots of street parking around.
