★ 5One of our best meals on the east coast. We had an amazing poutine, lobster roll, truffle fries, Alcott sandwich. We came here for the history after going to National Park but this was the best part of Concord.

★ 5We were sat fairly quickly, waited a little over 5min. for the server to come over, but she came with waters and took our order right away. We got the Yankee pot roast and the chicken pot pie. If you were trying to decide between the two I'd go with the chicken pot pie! The flavors were perfect, very cozy meal. The pot roast was alright, tender, good flavor, but there were some dryer bits. Also the butternut squash wouldn't have been my 1st choice to go with it.

★ 5Liberty at the Colonial Inn is such a lovely place to enjoy a meal, especially when the weather’s perfect for outdoor dining. We sat outside and couldn’t have asked for a prettier setting. I ordered the Jambalaya, my husband had the chicken pot pie, my mother-in-law enjoyed the clam chowder, and her husband got the chicken caprese sandwich. Each dish was delicious, and we topped it all off with different desserts — every bite was fantastic.
The only reason this isn’t a five-star review is the service. It was very slow, and our dinner stretched to about two hours. For a place where we made reservations months in advance, it was a bit extreme. That said, the food and atmosphere made up for it, and I would absolutely go back. Nestled in a building that dates back to the Revolutionary era, the inn itself is steeped in Concord’s rich history, which only adds to the charm of the experience. -

★ 5Our family of four was seated on the patio in the late afternoon and we enjoyed the garden scenery in addition to the food. I ordered a special which was a salmon burger, replaced arugula with reg lettuce due to preference. Someone in our party order the lobster roll, which none of us had previously experienced and it was good to note that it was served cold (and this is different than I expected). The salmon burger had great flavor and was surprisingly saucy (sauce was good) but if that’s not your thing ask for it on the side. Sweet potato fries were perfectly crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. The hostess was busy when we got there but accommodating which made us enjoy our time there more!

★ 5We walked into this beautiful historic inn and loved being part in a chapter of America. There are two restaurants - The Liberty Room and the Village Forge Tavern. We shared the fresh lump crab cakes - which were super fresh and delicious, as well as the Rueben sandwich. It was plenty for both of us to have half with a cold ale on the side. Highly recommend. Staff very friendly, atmosphere authentic. Had a great time! Would love to go back for an overnight stay.
