  What a great breakfast! This is a terrific little diner. The staff are very real and friendly. The food is tasty and just the right amount. Some places try to overwhelm you with food to somehow make it better. Not this place. I got plenty of food; it was the right amount that I could eat it all ( happily ), feel pleasantly full, and not feel like I wasted food.

  Our kind of place. Loved the prime rib hash, my wife loved the French toast. We’d come back! Across the street from the bike trail if you’re bringing your bike.

  On vacation from the Netherlands we rolled in on our way out over the Mohawk trail and up north to Bellington Vermont.
  We found the service friendly and efficient, the food great diner food and the atmosphere pleasant and neighborly.
  Any concerns about hygiene are over exagerated..

  I went in here recently for breakfast and I have to say it was an amazing experience. Service was fast and quick. The waitress was very friendly and funny. The cook Ramon did an awesome job with my omelette. I ordered the hashlette and it looked and tasted delicious. There was a good vibe in there. I have to say the cook and waitress make you feel like you’re part of the Shady Glen family. I would definitely recommend checking this place out if you’re looking for a hidden gem with a yummy breakfast. Next time, I think I might try the breakfast burrito. Highly recommend.
