★ 5What a hidden gem in Sterling VA; a diner offering a complete variety of breakfast choices, in a comfortable setting.
We had breakfast here on a Saturday morning, it was busy and we waited about 15 minutes. ( go on a weekday if you can)nService was attentive and cordial.
The Grilled Biscuits were YUMMY.
My Chocolate Chip Pancakes were cooked to perfection, soft in the inside with a bit of crunchy edges, and with the melted chocolate chips made this selection a winner. The bacon was crispy, and the Poached Eggs, cooked as ordered.
We had a pleasant dining experience, and we will definitely patronize this establishment again. -

★ 3Here training at SAIC and stopped here for lunch. Read reviews was a good place and well here I am. From Texas and have traveled for 26 years all over the USA/International.
Atmosphere: is good, I can see why this place can be busy, a-lot of regulars. Good Vibe.
Service: is good, they have a new software so a few of them are unfamiliar of how it works. Had a small encounter of paying cash, but server did not know how to provide receipt that it was paid. Later she found out. not a big thing we all been there.
Food: Well it would depend what you ordered, right.. For me it was the fish (see pic).. 2 piece: 1 was little over cooked (dry/hard) other was good, just a-lot of crust (for me, some like it very crusty). Fries were not bad, green beans well (I can say i'd had better).
In all, i'd try breakfast next time.. will i visit again (maybe). -

★ 5Stumbled upon this place while visiting home and what a pleasant surprise and absolute delight! The food was delicious, the staff are very kind and quick to handle your needs, and the place is charged with electric energy! It was full of people that I assume are regulars because everyone knew their name. If you have the chance and are looking for a solid breakfast/ lunch place... this is where you want to go! I'll be back next time I'm up here visiting, no doubt!

★ 5Absolutely incredible experience! My son and I were out shopping after working out and decided to grab some food to eat. I do a quick Google search and find two restaurants I was interested in. I chose Joe’s as the ratings were better and they did not disappoint. From entering the establishment I was greeted by the manager who told me the wait would be around 5 minutes. After two minutes waiting I was escorted to my seat. We gave our drink order and started to review the menu. The prices were very reasonable, actually surprisingly based on the service. We placed our orders and started to chat. After no more than 10 minutes, our food was delivered and smelling amazing. We ate everything on the plate! The food was 🔥. The manager returned and I told him this was the best breakfast I’ve had in a while and I would definitely return with my family next week. This place checks all the boxes, great service, great food, great prices.

★ 5Breakfast at Joe’s Cafe was exactly the kind of experience that reminds you why simple food, done right, always wins.
The waffle came out golden and perfectly crisp on the outside, with a soft, fluffy center that soaked up syrup without getting soggy. It had that fresh-made texture you can’t fake... light, buttery, and balanced without being overly sweet. You could tell they pay attention to timing and execution.
The scrambled eggs with cheese were cooked to perfection. Soft, creamy, and never dry, with melted cheese layered on top that added just the right amount of richness. It elevated the dish from standard diner eggs to something genuinely satisfying and comforting.
The bacon and sausage rounded out the plate flawlessly. The bacon had that ideal crisp snap without being overcooked, while the sausage was juicy, well-seasoned, and packed with savory flavor. Both were clearly prepared with care.
Overall, Joe’s Cafe delivered a breakfast that was straightforward but high quality... strong fundamentals, excellent texture, and great flavor balance. No shortcuts, just solid execution. Exactly what you want when you sit down for a classic American breakfast.
