  Decided to stop by for our anniversary since we’d had our 1st date there 25yrs ago and it had been over 10 years since we’d eaten there. THIS DID NOT DISAPPOINT! If you are looking for home cooking and fantastic service you need to give this restaurant a try. Exceeds what diners have become on LI. Same owners for 38years and you can absolutely feel the pride that they have serving their customers. Try the dinner specials! For $25, I had a glass of wine, salad, soup, appetizer (the spinach pie was delish!), chicken pot pie (st￭ with chicken and a buttery crust) AND dessert! Hubby got the same but with pot roast & potato pancake. Lots of dessert choices too but he opted to pay extra for the cheesecake which was PHENOMENAL! Dinner also came with a bread basket which was filled with fresh challah, breadsticks, crackers and butter. We took so much food home that we have another meal for tomorrow. This is now on our short list of comfort food dining establishments:)

  👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻nThe food was great here and service was amazing! I’m from Queens, NYC and I had some business here, so I decided to stop by to grab a bite. This place is definitely my favorite diner! It’s too bad it’s so far from where I live.

  Service was absolute trash today! Stopped In with my 12 year old daughter today after the MLK walk at the fire department and I'm so disappointed. Bacon was the pre cooked kind that you can just drop on a grill and the home fries was bland. I sat for 20 minutes waiting for a check while the entire back room cleared out. We were the only 2 people left back there and was totally ignored. When the waiter finally did appear I asked him if he forgot about us and he asked me if I wanted more coffee! Like really? Finally got the check, went to the register to pay and the lady was not nice either. No how was every thing, no smile, no nothing. As the owner of a hospitality business, I find this unacceptable and I will not patronize this establishment again.

  Food is good. Service is good. Today I bought a corned beef and cabbage meal to go. Price 25.00. Had two cheeseburger deluxe meals to stay and beverages. Total -69 bucks and change. Asked if I could get some rye bread with the Irish meal and was told they would have to charge me extra. What? And I left a 15.00 cash tip on the $69. Next visit tip is going to be the minimum.

  Great Dinner quality and style food, a town favorite with wonderful and polite staff. Its a big place with lots of seating, menu options, and even jute boxes at booth seatings. Ordered salmon on a custom salad and there was so much! I swear theres still two more meals to get through it all. Overall a great experience with good quality and prices.
