★ 5I have been several times in the evening or on weekends morning. I normally get either an omelet or breakfast. The restaurant has been really clean when I have eaten there. I have had a very nice server and I have received what I asked for without any issues. This is not fast food so plan to relax and enjoy a good meal with rushing. s

★ 5We're traveling and stopped here for brunch. I had the Southern Breakfast with crispy bacon and plain pancakes. The food is DELICIOUS and cooked to order. My partner had the hamburger steak with gravy and onions and a side of onion rings. The maple syrup is heated in a glass container. Do yourself a favor. Go. Enjoy the friendliness of the staff and the yummy food.

★ 5Stopped in for lunch on a Monday….my first visit to Jo’s dinner. What a pleasant surprise….it was fantastic! Strikingly bright, late ‘50’s ambiance, with delicious, home-cooked meals. Full Breakfast menu complete with great omelet selection and multiple grits, eggs, hash brown, and breakfast meat combinations. Homecooked breaded chopsteak with white gravy, eggs, biscuits and hash browns was my killer, much more than I could possibly eat, breakfast. There is one entirely separate menu dedicated exclusively to multiple hamburger combo’s offered for lunch. Small but yummy dinner menu, a full service bar, and a great selection of 50’s music playing in the background…including Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, Frankie Avalon, etc., etc. Pictures of Marilyn Monroe, Elvis Presley, etc,.etc. everywhere. Bright, sparkly atmosphere and colorful tables with very attentive, kick-back young waitresses. Terrific food, great ambiance, reasonably priced, and very relaxing. Only open since February of 2025, this is a genuine Brandon “diamond in the rough”. I can’t wait to come back.

★ 4Stopped in at Jo’s Diner on a rare morning trip to Brandon and got my hands on a Southern Breakfast to try. They said “short stack” on the menu so I assumed I was going to have some silver dollars stacked up or two regular sized. Instead, I got all 3 and ended up way more full than I thought I’d be. The food was good and atmosphere chill despite them being so busy. My only disappointment was that they didn’t have a liquor license yet, according my good server Mylea, and I look forward to trying something off of it one day if I get the chance.
All in all it was a 4/5, enjoyable breakfast experience that I look forward to trying again one day soon. 🤙🏽 -

★ 2First time eating at this location and I had high hopes. I ordered the French Toast and added a scrambled egg. I noticed immediately the eggs looked crusty, like they had set out for far too long. I touched the eggs and they were hard and cold. I then touched the French Toast, and again hard and cold. I hardly ever send food back, but there was no way I could eat what they served me. I asked the waitress if they could just reheat it, and she kindly did so. But when it came back, it was still mostly cold. I ate two pieces of bread and gave up, and there was no way I was touching those eggs. I won't be back. I will say that the waitress was very kind and apologetic; I just don't see how those eggs were ever served.
