The fried chicken and waffles were so delicious! The fried chicken portion size was small, but the meat was so tender and juicy. The potatoes went well with the dish as well. Definitely pricey, but a fun brunch spot with friends for special occasions. Staff was friendly and restaurant interior is very spacey but open so it’s very loud during busy meal times. Plenty of parking behind the building.

What can I say about smothered. I loved the food, been going at least once a week now and every menu item I have had has been excellent thanks to the chef Chris who also made me a custom pancake chile verde bacon strip which was really good. Also the staff is welcoming and very nice shout out maple and Brody!! Overall I’d give it a billion stars if I could!

Really enjoyed my first visit! Self serve drip coffee station while you wait if there is one. Very cute interior and bar seating. Simple but great menu options, unique as well. Even though there was self serve coffee, our server brought us a fresh pot to have at the table. Omelet I ordered was delicious and good portions. Service was awesome.

I was really excited to try this restaurant, especially after seeing all of the good reviews. My sister and I went this morning and awful is an understatement. After ordering it took the food 45 minutes to make it to our table and when it did arrive it was cold and not what we ordered. We then received what we ordered, also cold, and the food was very greasy and not appetizing. I ordered the biscuits and gravy and my sister ordered the Avocado toast. Our food looked nothing like the photos of what other people have posted here. I’ll never go back. We saw our waitress once after ordering and that was just to drop off our bill. It was expensive and not worth it.

The pecan espresso martini is amazing!
I love their biscuits as well.

I would say “third time is a charm” but I’ve been charmed every single time I’ve come.

The bacon flight is fun and my partner really loves the Carne Adovada Smash plate.

The cocktails are unique and delicious. My favorite other than the espresso martini is the Desert Daisy. The pink sugar is cute and memorable!

The staff and kitchen are very allergen aware and accommodating. There was no eye rolling, annoyance or contempt at all which are all things I’ve experienced many times at other venues.

    Everyone was very kind.

The atmosphere is fun and funky. There are multiple nice patios to hang out at in addition to the indoor seating.

Emma (the manager) comes around and checks on everyone and she remembers people who have come in previously. She really works on making everyone feel welcome and heard. She also actually helps her staff rather than kicking back and watching.

Every server and bartender has been delightful and fun.

This truly is a hidden gem in my humble opinion.

I’m putting I spent $50-$100 per person as my partner and I had cocktails.
If you are not imbibing, you’re probably looking at closer to $30 per person if each of you have an appetizer on top of a drink and an entrée.
