  We went here for the first time this morning. Food came out quick but was meh, as their hash browns weren’t cooked all the way and butter was caked in the middle and onto cold toast. I’m probably the least bit picky person but this was worth mentioning. Our server Leggette was top notch. Very attentive and super sweet! We may go back solely because of her service and give the food another go at it.

  Went to this place about 12 years ago, and it was mediocre. Just visited again this morning. Things change,nnBlack Bear is a small restaurant chain out of California. The restaurant is large with tables and booths and can handle large parties. Kid friendly and Vegan choices on the menu. They have TVs and a full bar, along with bear themes all thru the place. Breakfast is served all day.
  
  I opted for the Chicken Fried Steak with scrambled eggs, side of hashbrowns and toast. The steak was coated and seasoned well, the gravy was decent. Scrambled eggs were a little browned, but not too bad. I wasn't asked how I wanted them cooked. Hash browns were crispy but moist. Everything on the plate was hot, which means freshly cooked.
  
  It did take some time to wait on the food, but it was fairly busy and it didn't seem like they had enough staff. Almost typical when going out nowadays. Our server was pretty good, tried to keep on top of drinks. By the time we left, the place was packed.

  Had a fantastic experience with our school band. The staff was very accommodating, efficient, and friendly the whole time even with our large group. Would gladly go back again and recommend!

  This place is amazing. My server, Brea, is amazing. My friend and I went there for the first time three weeks ago and we went just two days ago again and landed on her table. From now on every time we go back, we will ask for her. Definitely in place worth checking out. Very relaxed atmosphere with a homestyle cooking.

  Our food was horrible. My food looked like it had sat there since I ordered it. Piled my biscuits on the plate whole and gave it a drench of gravy, letting it set for the 20 minutes while everything else cooked. Eggs were nasy runny on both our food and his food was cold. We really thought it would be like other restaurants from the same name. Waitress acted like she was trying too hard and talked with customers more than getting food. We have tried this restaurant twice this year and no dice either time.
