★ 5Our Sunday breakfast - i had the chilaquilles divorciados. It's a delicious concoction of tortilla chips, black beans, sour cream, guacamole, scrambled eggs with green and red sauces. It has a hint of spiciness. My girlfriend had a short stack of pancakes with berries - fluffy and light with the right amount of sweetness - the sweet cream was just the right condiment to the berries. The staff are friendly and attentive. Definitely worth going.

★ 5First of all, Alex is an amazing server and lovely person! He has great recommendations and I would trust his opinions with my life. Highly recommend the orange juice as a beverage, and for food, I can vouch for the banana waffles, chilaquiles, and Monte Cristo sandwich. I absolutely will be coming back with friends!

★ 5The food and service at Tribu Caffe was top notch. We came in for breakfast and are so glad we did. A highlight was their house potatoes which are packed with flavor. I’m not sure what they use to season them, but they were fire!
I got the two eggs your way (over medium) with a side of fruit and white toast. Everything was delicious. I also got a cup of chicken noodle soup and licked the cup clean. It was the perfect addition to my meal on a cold and rainy day.
My mom got the parfait which she said was really good. The portion was huge so she got the rest to go. If you’re looking for a smaller plate, I recommend asking for a half portion to see if that’s an option.
The service was great and all the staff we talked to were so friendly. I can’t wait to come back and try their Brisket Hash which they recently added as a special 4 weeks ago. Thank you Tribu! -

★ 5Very fast service for a weekend! Came here and tried their eggs benedict and was not surprised! Staff was super friendly and quick to take my order and I was in and out in less than 30 mins! Also really liked the unique art displays on the walls.
Will definitely be stopping here again next time I’m in Chicago. -

★ 5I recently discovered Tribu Caffe and was blown away by the great service and food. The chilaquiles transported me back to Mexico! Everything was fresh and the portions were huge. I also enjoyed an iced latte to top off the experience. I would highly recommend Tribu Caffe if you’re looking for a tasty and affordable brunch spot in the neighborhood.
