★ 5Spectacular service and food. The homemade green salsa on table was great. This is a charming old-school diner. Just get something with ham and a glass of OJ.

★ 4Hello everyone! Thank you for reading my reviews! My reviews and photos are only real! Today, Sunday, March 30, 2025, my wife and I accidentally went to this cafe. The cafe conveys real life in Chicago. People come here with friends and the whole family. The food on the menu is simple and home-style delicious. I want to say thank you for the coffee, coffee is four out of five. We were offered a wonderful table, we were able to observe the staff and visitors. I recommend visiting this cafe, you will feel the spirit of simple and real life in Chicago! Good luck to everyone and thanks to the owner!

★ 5This restaurant has been part of the community for years now. It's that special place to meet friends, celebrate a family event, or come to by yourself with a book on a rainy (or sunny) day. Highly recommended for both the home cooked food and the warm feeling only a locally run place can provide.

★ 5Was all set for brunch at Kasama Restaurant, but the line was unbelievably long! Luckily, Plan B led us to Sunrise Cafe, and what a delightful surprise it was! The cozy atmosphere made us feel right at home, and the food was absolutely delicious. The coffee was freshly brewed, and the eggs were cooked to perfection. Definitely a hidden gem for brunch! Highly recommend checking out Sunrise Cafe if you're in the area and looking for a relaxed and tasty meal. ☕🍳👍

★ 5So cute and really high quality! The wait staff was very nice and personable, the atmosphere is simply delightful, and the food was amazing (and reasonably priced for the quality/portion size!)nMy breakfast burrito fell apart in my hands a little bit, but that's okay I fall apart sometimes too and I'm still scrumptious!!!
