★ 5The restaurant has limited seating but the servers make every effort to get you to a table asap. We had the homemade corn beef hash. It was delicious. Servers are pleasant and efficient. Prices are very reasonable.

★ 4Enjoyed a quick breakfast here before going on the puffin and whale cruise across the street. Very narrow and tight seating space. The bathroom was incredibly tiny as well. If I had any mobility issues I'm not sure I could visit this restaurant unfortunately. Steep stairs to enter as well. The food was standard (but not a fair judgment since we ordered basic breakfast) and the waiter was attentive.

★ 5If you want healthy good food this is your place. Had an amazingly delicious breakfast with the family and all happy bellies after and good before our cruise. The banana pancakes are delicious with real banana slices you can feel and taste in it with chunks of bananas baked within the bread to enjoy the savory taste of banana in each bite. The corned beef hash was melt in your mouth soft and easy to chew moist and delicious with flavor w good peppers. Only thing that threw me off was large chunks of potatoes because I'm used to hashed potatoes being thinly sliced like from a cheese grator but thick thin slices more easily eaten and easier to get the perfect crisp. My husband enjoyed his poached eggs and the organic coffee and fresh squeezed orange juice with peel next store while pricey but worth the delicousness. If in the area ever again I would come back for the food. However it is a tiny crammed place like sitting next to strangers moving in and out to get out and long waits to get in but its worth it. Server was super nice and friendly but clearly understaffed and felt bad for her. She shone with patience.
Atmosphere is less due to wait, lack of space, and hard to get parking but is completely out of their power so cant complain about something out of their control.
Location: This is on a main tourist part of area so parrel side street parking us limited 2 hours free if can find a spot or have to pay for a parking spot. It is a very hard place to find a long term parking spot in August mid week during work hours.
Lots of shopping and places to eat nearby and the beautiful harbor views -

★ 5Very busy breakfast place, and well worth the wait! The dining room is cozy and crammed. The Hangover Hash I had is next-level delicious, and they don't scimp on the portion size at all. They slow cook and shred the corned beef in house, and it's amazing. The marble rye bread toast is perfect with it. The Blueberry st■ French toast is so good. Loved this place.

★ 1Probably just caught them on an off Saturday morning. Pancakes cold, biscuits and gravy cold. beverages never came. Super slow service. Not worth the wait or money spent…sadly left the girl a good tip because I felt sorry for her. Wait and wait just to get the check…giving lots of time to write their review. I know I won’t be back! Sorry Waves Restaurant, you need to hire more help. I do not like to write bad reviews but you needed to hear what your customers think. Table next to us complained while still there. Not good
