  Every time we're in Gunnison, we pop into the W-Cafe for breakfast! Their food is just like Grandma used to make with fluffy pancakes, crispy hash browns, local eggs when available, fresh coffee and tea.
  They also have cinnamon rolls, sandwiches, quesadillas, salads, burgers, soups & chili, and they deliver!
  Open from 7: 00am to 2: 00pm, you don't have to choose whether to have breakfast or lunch as both are served, open to close.
  
  The W is located on Main Street, with easy access to multiple shopping experiences, including an art gallery, souvenir and clothing stores, and everything you would expect from a beautiful mountain area.
  
  The restaurant, kitchen area and bathrooms are spotlessly clean and well maintained. The staff is very friendly & kind and do their best to ensure you have a relaxing, dining experience.
  
  As it is a local favorite, during high traffic times of day, you may have a little bit of a wait.
  They even advertise that the locals hang out there, so you know you're going to get flavorful comfort food that won't destroy your wallet.

  Loved visiting The Dilly Deli! Super friendly and the sandwich was delicious! Love the Twister bathroom - now that's creative!

  Stopped by W Cafe in Gunnison for breakfast the day before the 4th of July. Even with the holiday crowd, we were seated quickly since it was just the two of us—definitely appreciated. We ordered the spinach, bacon, and cheese omelette and a breakfast burrito. Both came out hot and fast, and the portion sizes were huge, definitely enough to fill you up (or split if you’re not super hungry). The food was hearty and satisfying, though nothing fancy. A solid spot if you’re looking for a classic diner-style breakfast with generous portions and quick service.

  The service was average at best. We waited about ten minutes for a table and then about 5-6 more before anyone acknowledged we were sitting there. I watched as a couple that was seated after us get coffee and drink orders taken. She also didn’t refill coffee at our table despite doing so for others around us. She wasn’t as friendly as most waiters were has this week in Gunnison. Perhaps she was having a rough day?
  
  The food was good. The cinnamon roll was large with icing. The biscuit with gravy and omelettes were good. Standard diner fare.
  
  The atmosphere is just old town diner - nothing special about it. The bathrooms could use a coat of paint. It’s obvious the place is popular either with locals or tourists because it’s been busy every time we’ve walked or driven by it.

  I had the steak and eggs with the fruit on the side and it was fantastic. Service was rock solid.
