  Always looking for local food & wife did great picking this place. The plates were huge! The chicken fried steak was big enough for a giant. We didn't have that, but the firefighters next to us did. They let me take a picture to share.
  Staff were great, friendly, Kenya never let us run out of coffee & was helpful in our selection. Food was very good & portions more than we could eat. Wife said her pancakes were perfect!
  Building was clean. Only negative was parking was tight because how popular it was.
  We highly recommend you stop in & give it a try.

  This place had a long wait but it was sooooo worth it. Had the carne adovada and egg plate and it was very very good. My friend ordered the chicken fried steak with eggs and hash browns and had to take half of it home for later as it was giant! Will definitely be back.

  The service was excellent. The food was good, and the setting is typical of a diner or cafe. A had the vaqueros (chicken fried steak) with a side of fruit (one of the grapes were moldy). The menu is quite diverse. The portion size made it hard to finish. I'll be back to try lunch in the future.

  I had a fantastic breakfast at Vic's Daily Cafe. The portions were huge, the food was fresh and flavorful, and the service was friendly from start to finish. The chicken fried steak and New Mexican breakfast dishes were especially impressive, cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. It's easy to see why this local, family-owned spot has been a favorite in Albuquerque for so many years. The atmosphere is welcoming, the prices are reasonable, and you definitely won't leave hungry. I'll be making a point to stop by again the next time I'm in town.

The food is unreal: real New Mexico flavor, perfect heat, and huge portions that taste like somebody’s grandma is still in the back making sure everything comes out right.
  
  Our server, Diana, was phenomenal. Warm, fast, and genuinely helpful — she recommended the exact meal I didn’t know I needed, and she was spot-on. You can tell she cares about her customers, and that energy really sets the tone for the whole place.
  
  Locally owned, no gimmicks, just incredible food, real service, and a family-style atmosphere.
  Highly recommend.
