Okay this place is EVERYTHING ☕️nStarting with the vibe and brand, they are so welcoming and have such a trendy vibe.
You can eat in, take out or anything in between.
They have brunch, breakfast, pastries, coffee, tea, etc.
I ordered the egg frittata, and it was phenomenal! Made with seasonal/ daily vegetables. It was flavorful and fresh.
I also got an iced latte with the brown butter toffee syrup and it was out of this world.
Lastly, I got some parties to go which was their classic brown butter chocolate chip cookie and then a pistachio blondie bar.
    Both were delicious.

    10/10 recommend place.
Friendly staff, quick service, quality food.

Hands down, the Uptown Eats October Feast was my tastiest food experience this year (and yes I know it's late October!) Dan and his staff serve up the most down-to-earth, innovative, delicious and fresh food (!) in an unassuming, centrally located, diner-style restaurant in St Pete.
While their specialty is breakfast and lunch,na few times a year they open for dinner and it is ALWAYS EPIC. Last evening's feastwas no exception!

I brought two friends from Boston with me for the October Feast, and they were delighted!

We wanted to order everything from the special menu (see photo) and settled on Pierogies, Muenster mash grilled cheese (with mushrooms and onions... my favorite of the evening!), the pumpkin chili, and the schnitzel with potatoes and purple cabbage. Every single dish was so delicious, there wasn't a morsel left on anyone's plate. Today, my friends are still raving about the meal and planning their next visit to try out the regular menu.

Many thanks to Dan and his staff for a wonderful evening! I'll be back soon!

UPDATE TO OWNER: Wow… such a negative response to a very tame 4-star review. The drink was way too sweet for my taste, yet I still credited the friendly service. I ordered, paid, took my drink, and left without a single complaint or issue. All I did was share a personal preference and say I’d consider trying something else. Your unnecessarily rude and defensive reply says far more about your business than my review ever could. Don’t worry, one customer won’t make or break you, but your attitude definitely made my decision not to return.

Was recommended by someone to try their salted caramel esp and damn it was so sweet i couldn’t drink it. It was good and flavorful but so sweet. I do want to come back and try something else though. Service was very nice and friendly.

Very casual space for healthy eats. Things like salads were fresh. They have a good amount of pastries and their portions were very generous. We sat in the booth by the window and it was really nice atmosphere. The cafe itself is very narrow with limited seating along the walls. However there are quite a few outside tables for you to enjoy. Tipping is expected with a very bold sign on the register so keep that in mind if you’re someone who doesn’t like tipping.

I went here for the first time this morning and I was extremely disappointed ☹️ The woman taking my order did not seem kind? I saw her treat several people after me in a much different way, a lot nicer? I’m not sure why I got attitude. The coffee I got was super watered down/seemed to be all milk and sweetener - I barely even tasted any coffee. First time I’ve ever thrown a full latte away. The sandwich was also a disappointment. Collard greens on a breakfast sandwich? Bleh. I guess I should have paid more attention to what was on it while reading the menu. I spent $20 (and tipped on top of that ) to be very disappointed. You go somewhere for breakfast to start your morning positively and I unfortunately did not have that experience. The only reason I’m giving 2 stars is because the guy who brought me my food was the only one who smiled and was very kind to me. I unfortunately won’t be back.
