★ 5my two daughters and nephew went here today. My oldest daughter only had $12 in her account and tried calling me, but I was busy. She asked the girls working there how much a coffee and waffle would be and it turns out she didn’t have enough money. She decided just to get her little sister a waffle because she was hungry instead of getting herself coffee. The ladies working were the sweetest and ended up giving my daughter the coffee on the house. My nephew also got a waffle and coffee and expressed that he was scared of his credit card would decline so they gave him a discount on the food. When they told me this, I was not only impressed at how sweet these girls were but incredibly grateful. We love upper standard and go here frequently after a ski day. Thank you upper standard and thank you to the awesome girls that work there!! It’s awesome to see there’s still good in the world!

★ 5The Upper Standard is by far the best place to go for a quick drink after a long day on the slopes - whether you are getting a hot coffee, a cold beer, or a delicious little pizza, this place has got it all!
The staff are so welcoming and attentive, and the owner Scott is probably one of the kindest people on the mountain.
Theres nothing that makes a a trip to Stratton quite like getting a spiked coffee, cracking a quick joke with Scott & Mike, and sitting by the fire - I always recommend the Upper Standard to anyone coming to Stratton Mountain. -

★ 5I missed the opening of Upper Standard by a few days back in September but I was able to get my caffeine fix after a workout at the Sports Center today!
The new setup is great and the coffee aromas beckon you inside from the frigid cold of the village. The woman behind the counter was friendly and made a hell of an iced coffee!
If coffee isn’t your thing, there’s also beer for sale which is sure to take the edge off after a long day falling down Upper Standard (the trail).
Thanks for the coffee and maybe see you in a few for a beer or ten, Upper Standard! -

★ 5Great spot in the village for coffee / snacks / drinks. There’s really something for everyone. Waffles are excellent for those looking for them after you’ve left the slopes (instead of trekking back to Waffle Cabin). Will try the pizzas next time I stop by. Staff is super hospitable.

★ 5Visited Stratton for Oktoberfest’24. Patronized Upper Standard Coffee several times while there during a 3-day weekend. The shop was very busy each morning; but the Team handled the crowds very quickly, professionally & w/ huge smiles! Coffee was great & baked goods delicious! Their waffles are awesome!
