★ 5#BlackOwnednnWife and I came to Rochester for a concert, heard about this nice breakfast spot and the following morning decided to visit….
Walked in was pleasantly greeted by a lovely elderly woman (I later found out she was the daughter of the owner) who gave me a menu, informed us to grab a table and go stand in line. Took about 5-7 mins to get to the register to give our order. Don’t worry, while you’re standing in line, you probably won’t have enough time to decide what you want…lol.
Ordered, got our beverages, and sat at our table.
About 8-10 mins later, my name was called and out food was ready. I’ve never eaten blueberry French toast, but the bar has been set. They were moist, buttery, and melted in my mouth. Potatoes were well seasoned. Fish and chicken were crispy and well seasoned also. I only like to highlight the specialty of an establishment, and the French toast is slamming!!!!! The other sides like eggs, grits, and bacon were as expected. Delicious. I only discuss sides if they were messed up. The staff were polite, the restaurant was clean, the atmosphere was pleasant. I literally had no complaints. We plan on driving back and taking the kids for a visit. -

★ 4This is an interesting place. It's setup is kind of like a high school cafeteria but the vibes are immaculate and the food was delicious!
Everything pictured was about $50 which is a little steep but honestly, I'm willing to pay more for good quality and good quantity and that's what we got here. Nothing missed, it all hit.
And supporting what appears to be a black owned business is even better! I should honestly just start only going to black owned businesses because you know the food is going to be good. They actually care and it shows.
The only reason why I didn't give the service 5 stars is because it's kind of self serve for a lot of it and our food didn't all come out together so my husband had to go up to the counter several times to get our order. It would be better if everything came out together. They also did kind of burn my waffle but luckily I like things a little crunchier and told her it was fine haha. She did ask to make sure it was ok so I'm not knocking points off the food. I think maybe they just needed an extra hand in the kitchen because it was only 2 people trying to take care of the front and cooking.
They were very friendly and welcoming the whole time though. The booth seating was comfortable but I could see the regular chairs might be a little uncomfortable. It was overall a great experience and we will be going back soon! -

★ 5The Toast Factory is an awesome breakfast spot with a self serve setup that feels like a college cafeteria. You order your food in line like Chipotle, then wait for your name to be called to pick it up. The whole seating process is a mess but the food and atmosphere makes up for it.
The food itself is absolutely amazing.Everything was flavorful with a strong Southern feel. I got the 3 French toast combo with sausage and eggs, plus a side of grits, and everything was on point. My girlfriend had the same combo with a side of potatoes with onions and peppers. Overall, the food is REALLY good and definitely makes this a go-to breakfast spot. -

★ 5I cannot recommend this place enough! The food is amazing!!! Service is incredible! My wife and I found this place through Tik Tok and are glad we did. I had the 3 piece French toast with bacon and eggs; also oatmeal with fruit and a coffee. My wife had the bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich and a waffle. Everything was delicious and we plan to make this our Sunday breakfast spot on a regular basis.

★ 5Got the banana cream French toast with 2 wings. First off the wings It says to but you're getting two full wings which is IMO the proper way to count wings but compared to other places it's basically like you're getting two free lol. Secondly the banana cream I was expecting more of like a custard vibe but was pleasantly surprised that it was more like a cannoli style cream with incredible flavor. The wings were breaded crispy and juicy the French toast I think without the toppings would have been standard diner French toast but when you put on great toppings it absolutely elevates it. So the combo plus a drink and tip was $25 not bad for brunch. Staff was friendly and the establishment was clean. Will definitely be back for sure.
