★ 4It was pretty busy when I went, so there was no parking sadly. However, I had an easy time ordering and the staff was very helpful since it was my first time there. I got the sweet potato fries, and the curry chicken salad sandwich. The fries were different, they tasted like they had cinnamon on them but the sauce they gave me tangy, which honestly was a tasty combination. The sandwich was different from anything I’ve ever had, but it was pretty good. All in all, the food quality is probably what puts this restaurant on top! You can definitely tell that the quality of the food is good, and I will be going back to try more items on their menu.

★ 5Seriously just one of the best meals I have ever had and I spent a week in New Orleans last year just for the food. Chicken and dumplings, side salads, sweet potato fries with house dipping sauce, cheese burger all 10/10. So flavorful and fresh. The vibes are here,we tries outdoor seating - it's great. The service was fast and the staff friendly. Food came hot and fast. No notes guys. This place rocks.

★ 5This place was a gem. Just an absolutely adorable find!! I was only in Little Rock for 25 hours to see In Flames play, and I wanted a good dinner - a good *vegan* dinner. Which I had in spades. I got the Lion’s Mane Mushroom and it was fantastic. So were the sweet potato fries. Every single person who worked there was amazing and super sweet. Bonus: this place is hella queer and I loved it. I go a lot of places and have a lot of stickers, but it’s gonna be hard to top Pride Carrot. Hugs to all you guys!!!!

★ 4First time visiting Arkansas and Little Rock — here for the LR Marathon (Half) this weekend.
Stopped by The Root Cafe. Easy parking with both a lot and ample street spots.
Ordered the Spicy Banh Mi: fried organic tofu, carrot-daikon pickle, cilantro, jalapeños, hoisin, sriracha, and house garlic mayo on a Boulevard baguette. I s믭 vegan mayo, so it was vegetarian (possibly vegan).
Overall, it was good and fairly healthy. The veggies were fresh, the carrot-daikon pickle stood out, and I appreciated the mixed greens on the side. That said, the sandwich — and especially the greens — were a bit salty / high in sodium.
Still, solid flavors and good ingredients. I’d come back.

★ 5Thought I posted my review...I guess it didn't save! The meal was delicious! My husband had the double cheeseburger with fries. I had the Spicy Banh Mi. You could smell the freshness of each ingredient. My favorite of all is the spring salad with their house garlic vinaigrette.
