★ 4I have been going to the Root for years. We tried the new location for breakfast and dinner this weekend. The breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend the omelet. And, the Matcha is divine.
Dinner was a different story. The service was good but the kitchen failed to complete the deviled eggs and keep putting it off until dinner was almost ready to arrive and our server said it wasn't going to happen. Disappointing as we really wanted to try those. In lieu of that my husband opted for the egg salad sandwich which he felt tasted bland because the pickles were forgotten.
I had the meatloaf, mashed potatoes and carrots which tasted all farm fresh. My daughter had the brat and loved it.
There were disappointing aspects but we still loved most of it. I also wanted to get a t-shirt at the shop and the employee forgot to check the back for my size and never followed up with me. Also, with a $90 bill for 3 people you think that a $2 service fee to run your debit could be waived.
This location needs a little fine tuning! We came from hours away this time and was looking forward to it!
The Breckenridge location definitely knocked it out of the park on decor though! Loved the ambiance. -

★ 5We’ve been delivering our farm raised produce for years to The Root Cafe, This is the first time the three of us had an opportunity to sit down and enjoy a meal together while on a delivery.
Hamburgers were amazing, we felt good about what we were eating because we knew where the ingredients came from and they didn’t use seed oil for the fries!😊The fries were amazing & the sweet potato fries for the win! Hibiscus tea was a bonus. Servers were friendly. Thank You Root Cafe for supporting Local Family Farms. 🍑 -

★ 5Very very cute restaurant with lots of vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options! We went for dinner and Emmy was super helpful with vegan options! The cornbread was amazing, would absolutely go again!

★ 5First time at the new location. It was great! More room and more varied areas for dining. Service was great, as with the OG location. I had the purple hull pea stew and cornbread. Just as good as previous times. So glad they have another location now and that it’s also awesome!
