★ 3Dining experience review. Food is good, well prepared & presented. Nice varied options. Welcoming, mostly attentive staff. Pouring wine techniques need improvement (in glass not on table nor butter plate). Very nice Waterfront views but not stunning. Cocktail abv on light side. I recommend giving them a try.

★ 2The hotel we did not stay in, only visited the restaurant for a meal. We started with the bacon wrapped fried oysters, they were difficult to eat. The bacon wasnt cooked well, the oysters were extremely fishy tasting and just not good. We had 2 entrees, the local cod with rosemary potatoes and scallops with orzo pasta. The cod was was flavorless with zero seasoning. The texture was okay but seemed it had been frozen. The scallops had no sear at all. They looked like little potatoes. Overall I would give the meal 1 star. The only redeeming item was the warm bread pudding that was free for my birthday.

★ 3This place has a beautiful, historic charm and a stunning location right on the water, which makes for a lovely backdrop. The atmosphere is quite elegant, but unfortunately, my experience was a bit inconsistent during my visit. While the setting is undeniably special, I felt that the service and overall experience didn't quite match the premium price point, leaving me with mixed feelings about returning.

★ 5My husband and I went to The Red Inn to celebrate our anniversary and had a wonderful experience. Tiago was our server and he provided 5 star service. He made us feel special. In addition to his service the food was delicious. The carrot ginger soup, house salad and scallops were superb while the smoked duck was unbelievable. It was an amazing night and one we hope to repeat soon.

★ 2The building itself is stunning. Such an elegant feel inside the restaurant. Food - not good at all. Got oysters which were okay. Entrees for dinner - would never recommend. The codfish and scallops were both so dry. The staff does not smile and is not very attentive. Got two drinks and we couldn’t drink either, they were both so horrible. Honestly best part was the bread pudding dessert. Would not recommend if you’re looking for a nicer place in Provincetown.
