  Excellent slow cooked BBQ spot (their Rib Room is open on weekends only right now, the cafe is open regular hours). Super flavorful and moist ribs and brisket, delicious sides (baked beans, corn bread, etc). Generous portion sizes - we were all st￭ by the time we left and brought some home too. Also a good selection of beers on tap and some great cocktails. Really cool decor too! Definitely give them a try!

  This is our favorite cafe near Newfound lake. We stop by often on our way to the lake. The baked goods are absolutely delicious, I keep trying different ones each time I come in. My husband loves the breakfast sandwiches too.

  just wanted to leave a review after a week or so of thinking about this.. i go to the purple pit semi often mostly to get a chai tea and pesto chicken sandwich if im out. a week or so ago i went in before work to get something, and while i was waiting, unfortunately had to hear some pretty hateful things come out of the mouths of some older people sat near me, that should not be said in a public space with others around to hear it.
  
  it was alarming and upsetting, so i informed the people at counter who were just as upset as i was. i did not stay after to see if anything more came of it, but knowing that the people who work there do not allow such hateful things to be said in their establishment makes me like the place more. thank you to the people working the counter that day and the food is always delightful!

  I got two cappuccino here because they were soooo good, and I was arguing with a leaky boiler nearby. The service is quick, and the muffins are delicious. Thank you so much! You all have a nice waterfall nearby... (lol, not the boiler leaking, 🤣 but a real waterfall) cool spot to take a walk and catch some fresh air.

  This is a nice place to enjoy a nice breakfast and some coffee. The staff and friendly and hard working to give you quality service and products. They also have a jazz lounge here but I was not able to be there for their music but if it’s like their coffe and breakfast it’s a winner!
