★ 5A small restaurant/diner located in Lakewood. There is parking in the back. We were able to get a table, no wait. We did get breakfast, which was delicious. I was very impressed with the food. My eggs were cooked perfectly and they were fluffy, which I like. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful and prices were very reasonable.

★ 3Came here for breakfast on a weekday, the place wasn’t super busy so I was seated immediately. They have a moderately sized menu. I opted for the country fried steak, overall the meal was okay, the gravy was a little bit different than usual but still decent. However, this is not “the place to be” if you don’t have cash. They do offer an atm machine but still inconvenient.

★ 5They sat a table for six in no time. The menu was extensive and the eggs Benedict were perfect. Check out the pictures to see how you make kids meals extra special. A family run restaurant we will visit when in town.

★ 3Food was edible. Everything was bland. 16$ biscuits and gravy were tiny cheap biscuits with a small amount of gravy. Nothing special here. A long time ago it was cheap and filling. Now it’s overpriced for cheap diner ingredients. I got charged 8$ for a single pancake with a dead can of whip cream on top.
Save your wallet and go to the shore or coffee pot. Or spend the same amount and go to a modern breakfast or brunch place for the same amount of $. RIP the place to be. -

★ 5Great atmosphere and the staff are friendly. We got breakfast (corned beef hash and a breakfast burrito) and both enjoyed our meal. My soft scrambled eggs were perfect. I will definitely be going back!
