  Spent a night here and it was wonderful. The rooms were spacious and clean. Everyone who worked there were very accommodating. The grounds of the Inn are simply beautiful. The food from the restaurant was so good (the scallop special was incredible) and reasonably priced. The server was an absolute professional.

  It’s not often that I write a review, but today’s Easter buffet was certainly something to talk about. We had the last reservation time for the day and any thoughts of the food possibly not being freshly laid out were quickly put to rest. The wide variety was fresh, warm, delicious, and there was something for everyone. The service was fantastic as well. I think we have found our new holiday tradition. We are looking forward to stopping by this summer to golf and enjoy a delicious meal. Thanks for the wonderful experience! Happy Easter!

  Me and my fiance went for a dinner, and were extremely disappointed. It was a nice quiet atmosphere at first, but shortly after being seated things changed. The waitstaff was an extremely loud, unprofessional, group of young women. Our waitress in particular was very snarky, sarcastic and extremely loud, and that was when she would pay us any attention. She would check in on the tables on each side of us while ignoring us and walking past. We honestly felt neglected by our server. We ordered a burger and a Cesar Salad. Someone else brought our food out and our waitress thanked her but never checked to see if we were all set. We waited and waited for her to check in on us (mainly because we wanted to order something else) but even so, the thought counts. When we got our burger it had one piece of bacon on it, no seasoning and was honestly wimpy. The people were well dressed and it was set up very nicely but the professionalism was nowhere to be found. Honestly, the buss boy would get my tip if I could give it to him. I can not express how let down, and disappointed I am.
  
  Overall we had high hopes but were quickly brought down with this terrible experience.
  
  I have probably only ever written one other review to a restaurant in my life so that says a lot.

  We dined at the restaurant and it was the most disappointing dining experience I’ve had in years. The service was awful, we waited forty minutes just for our order to be taken and the dining room was nearly empty. The food was ok.
  
  To really top off the unpleasant meal, staff began preparing the room for Sunday brunch while we were still eating. Rolling out carpets, loudly setting up folding tables, all within 20 feet of our table. It was so loud I could barely hear my father who was sitting next to me. If you want the dining room cleared by nine so you can set up, either improve your service times or don’t take a 7:30 reservation.
  
  What was supposed to be a special night (got a babysitter for kids, my parents traveled from out of state) was just a complete disappointment. A complete disappointment that cost nearly $450.

  Our experience was very nice Room was nice bed was comfortable We loved that it was a older building and my wife was very happy Just far enough away from Bar Harbor that the price was very good and the drive to town was pretty Good Continental breakfast We would stay here again when in the area
