  First time trying the Kitchen sit down dining area of Barnes &Noble. Got the strawberry salad with chicken. It was pretty good. I expected there to be more strawberries than what came with it, but maybe if I had opted for the tomatoes and onions on the salad it would have e felt like enough. It's a cute little area to eat and the food options looked interesting.

  We arrived at opening for ladies brunch. The ambiance was warm and the chairs surprisingly comfortable. We all enjoyed our food and we happy to see vegetarian options. The portobello mushroom sandwich was excellent and we all loved the crispy potatoes. Our server Brandy was on point and took exceptional care of us, she was very knowledgeable about the ingredients in the food and beverages and suggested modifications for dietary needs. She may have been the only server working the restaurant, i didn't notice anyone else and she was moving efficiently and effectively. She even found us after we left in the bookstore to return something that I apparently dropped under the table! It was an overall wonderful experience.

  I had no idea their café was so dang good!! And to top it, it's in a book store, so there's added charm. I can just walk over to the café with my new book & pick up a stellar meal! I'm super picky when it comes to eating out. The food can't be just thrown together, and it must be made with great ingredients. I'm a pretty good cook myself & I know exactly how I like things, so if you can't do better than I can do at home, it feels like a waste of time and money. This place is definitely worth coming to! The chefs here make perfect potatoes, delicious bread, yummy hummus, and every dish I've had is far above average! I love that there are healthy choices & indulgent ones on the menu. We make a trip from 30 miles away for a date night to enjoy delicious food & book hunting. I highly recommend 👌❤️

  We absolutely love this restaurant! Sort of a hidden gem. My husband raves about this place. The food quality is incredible. The ambience is always relaxed and everyone is pleasant. Highly recommend.

  We arrived to find three empty tables by the wall, but were seated in the middle of the restaurant instead. I ask for o e of thise tables but was told hose tables were being held empty for larger parties. However, no one was waiting to be seated. To make things worse, our table was right by the kitchen (no door), so the noise made it impossible to have a conversation with my daughter. By the time we finished, there were still empty tables. They chose hypothetical customers over the ones already there. I won't be going back, though the only person I can blame for staying is myself.
