We love love love this place! Delicious fresh food! Gluten free options! Favorite eggs Benedict! Best of all is the friendly service. The host, server and even the owner all were genuine and a delight to chat with. Thank you Hazel Room!

The Hazel Room, situated on the iconic Hawthorne Blvd near downtown Portland, Oregon, exceeded our expectations during our first visit. Our meal featured coconut cardamom battered French toast with candied hazelnuts, toasted coconut and orange zest, paired with scallion cheddar biscuits and gravy. The trendy atmosphere was alive with a vibrant crowd of patrons spanning multiple age groups, all seemingly entertained. Savanna's attentive and friendly service ensured a pleasant experience. The venue's inviting ambiance made for a most memorable visit.

Our server and hostess was amazing! It was busy, but they were so nice and got us coffee while we waited. We ordered and got food quickly, and everything we had was amazing! If you haven’t been here, go try it!

A really cool restaurant inside of an old house in a cool little neighborhood. Parking was a bit of a challenge, but not too bad. There are a number of gluten free options and the food was very good. The service was excellent. I sat outside right next to a gorgeous rose bush. I had the ‘Bee Gee’ which was biscuits and gravy, I chose chicken sausage for protein and eggs over easy. I also had a tequila Bloody Mary.
