Food was amazing. Staff were great. My brother mentioned that the biscuits were the best he ever had. I got “The Downhill” which is fantastic. Thank you. Please get a selection of hot sauces lol 🙏

This restaurant is a hidden gem! It’s a cute, family-owned spot with a warm vibe. Though it’s small and you might wait for a table, the food is absolutely amazing and well worth it. We loved the authentic feel and can't wait to go back. Highly recommended!

Expect a wait. In fact, if you’re going on a Sunday, go in and add your name on the computer, and they will text you when the table is ready. Then go to the tiny Farmers Market on the side street and check things out. If you buy food there, save it for later because you want to save room for the Hatchery. I appreciated the get your own coffee and tea station since the kitchen was so busy, the server said she had to wait to take our order. But food came out fast after that. Outstanding pancakes. However, if you’re going to charge $1.50 for an extra teeny cup of maple syrup, then you should let the customer know there is an extra fee! Side of bacon was three tiny pieces. Other tables had better and bigger pieces. Come on, throw in another piece and keep the customer happy. I was excited to try the home fries on the delicious farm-fresh eggs, but they got a little too fancy with it and added some spice that made them inedible me. Keep it simple please! Server was adroit at the upsell. A little too much for my opinion. Still it was a good price for a nice breakfast.

Walked into The Hatchery this morning and was immediately charmed by its humble, no-frills setting but don’t let that fool you, the food absolutely delivers.

Everything here is locally sourced, and you can taste the difference. I ordered the cilantro omelette, which was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly done, served alongside rye bread that tied it all together beautifully.

But the real highlight? The potatoes. The waitress casually asked if I wanted regular potatoes or the “funky version” with Vermont cheddar and onions. Now, when someone offers you funky potatoes, saying no just feels like missing out on life. Naturally, I said yes and it was 100% the right decision.

They also have fresh-squeezed juice, solid coffee (self-serve, which I personally love), and as a bonus, you get a view of the Okemo slopes while you eat hard to beat that before a ski day.

Great food, relaxed vibe, and a fun, personable touch in service. If you’re heading to Okemo, this is a must-stop breakfast spot before hitting the slopes.

Cute little breakfast restaurant, probably much busier during the ski season. But of course I just stopped to buy a mug and have a couple of eggs and some sausage. The service was good the prices are middle, but the food was just meh. Sausage with tasteless and probably frozen commercial brand, and the gravy was bland. The eggs were excellent and so was the coffee. Sausage should not be tough!
