Great breakfast spot on Dot Ave with a wide variety of breakfast and lunch options. We visited for breakfast and were seated right away, even with a few tables already occupied. The space has a welcoming atmosphere, with counter seating available for dining in or ordering to go, plus additional seating in the back.

We started with iced coffees, which were really good, and appreciated the variety of flavor shots available. For food, we ordered the Dot Special and the 2x2x2. The Dot Special came with two eggs and your choice of meat, while the 2x2x2 included two pancakes, two eggs, and two meats. Both meals came with home fries (with the option to substitute beans) and your choice of toast.

The service was attentive, and the food was delicious. The pancakes were the highlight, nicely sized for one person and not overly large like you sometimes see elsewhere. Overall, a solid spot for breakfast with a comfortable vibe and satisfying food. I’d definitely come back.

My father , daughter and myself had the pleasure of eating here on Sat 3/28 around noon . They have parking in a gravel lot across the street from place which was convenient because it’s on a busy street and trying to find a spot can be tough . Anyways the place was nice , clean , cross between modern but rustic feel . As we entered, one of the waitresses told us to pick where we wanted to eat . The seating was a little tight but we found a spot against the wall with a small moveable table . The waitress was very attentive and pleasant . She was helpful in pointing out some of the options on the menu .n-My father got the Ham and Swiss on Pumpernickel with fries and slaw .He enjoyed it ! Said the only downfall was the bottom of the sandwich was soggy . I tried a couple of bites myself and gave to concur - it was really good but def dripping lol.n- My daughter got the Steak Tips with Eggs over easy . She ordered the tips medium rare but was a lil disappointed said that it was a lil too under cooked for her liking . My father and I ended up eating them for her and we both thought they were amazing . The bourbon flavoring was succulent .n- As for myself , I got simple 2-2-2 breakfast . 2 Eggs scrambled , 2 slices of bacon and two pancakes . (With Rye toast and home fries ). Every thing on my plate was great . The eggs weren’t dry , the bacon was cooked right and flavorful and the powered pancakes were soft and fluffy and def a treat . Even knowing I had just a couple of bites I gave them to my daughter to make up for her not eating the tips . She loved the pancakes .
All in all the price was fair 15-20 each of us . Would def recommend giving it a try and will come back again .

Check them out! At first it seems like they weren't open due to the tinted windows. Once inside..man it was such a relaxed vibe. The staff checks on you even if not your wait staff. The Belgian waffle came out perfectly crispy and soft on the inside. Western omelet was fluffy and had a side of potatoes.

Their customer service sucked. I kept on waiting for a to go container and was being completely ignored by my server. After about a hour, she still did not bring me the to go containers so I left everything that I paid for on the table. This was the worst part, that I paid up front and tipped her yet she had still been ignoring me for sometime. I had ordered and only had 2 bites out of my plate. Food was terrible and dry. Place might be fairly new and beautiful but if anyone knows about good quality foods, this is not the place. I won’t be going back again, that’s for sure. Benedict sauce broken and cracked and all I could taste in my mouth was mayonnaise. “If u don’t know how to make the hollandaise sauce, please don’t offer it up on the menu”. The clam chowder was so so thick that it was like eating a bottle of heavy cream. Salt to taste was missing on EVERYTHING. Flavors were very bland. Home fries are chopped so so big that they were raw inside and all I could taste was a starchy raw flavor of potato. I mean everything about this place was totally bad. How can u mess up on home fries, kids #1 favorite? They weren’t seasoned like home fries either. They were just chopped like them but much bigger, and it looked like they were regular potatoes on stove top or baked with no special ingredients, seasoning or dressing of any kind to give it the flavor of homemade fries. Just regular potatoes to me. No salt. Not to mention, lastly a piece of hair on one of our plates. Don’t be fooled by the beautiful structure of the restaurant. I have seen older and much smaller dinners but their service and food quality goes over the roof, above and beyond. My friend and I absolutely hated this place and we would never recommend it to anyone else. In fact, anyone who tries to mention this place to us, we tell them right away NO! If they want, they can go on their own. This is not the food quality or customer service that I am looking for. Cook needs to be changed. No competition against McKenna’s which is right up the street. I recommend them instead. You won’t be disappointed.

I had a quiet breakfast at Dot Diner.

Food was good, prices were reasonable and staff was friendly and helpful, even super early in the morning.

I got the 2, 2, 2 and it was a solid option for a hearty breakfast.
