I would brunch here every week! The food is tasty, prices are reasonable and the staff was super nice calling us “my friend.” I would definitely go again. My order was The Diner Royale. I ordered a side of tater tots

I’ve been here since Covid 2020 but never have left a review. I went today to visit the old neighborhood of Adams Morgan and my childhood home. I stopped by for a cup of tea before going home. I was going through a personal crisis and tried to remain calm. The staff welcomed me, attended to me to let me be, and made sure I was safe. I’m so happy that in my moment of weakness the staff made me feel safe. The tea I drank which was a mint, aided me. As I write this I’m beyond grateful and can’t repay the generous support the wait staff gave me. We all go through something. Sometimes a waiter is always there to help or go above and beyond. Thank you Diner.

We came in for sunday brunch and the food was delicious and worth the trip! The bartender made fabulous drinks for the table! Our server Ary went above and beyond with the service, being attentive and making us feel like valued guests. We are already planning our next visit

    The best syrup!!
My husband brought me here on our trip to DC. He spoke highly of this spot and it didnt disappoint. I had the French toast and fried chicken. The chicken was cooked excellent and tasted great. The French toast was delicious. Our server Jocylene was wonderful, attentive and sweet as can be.

I just watched the chef smash the hash browns on the grill with his bare hands with no gloves on. When I asked the server about what I saw and why he has no gloves on, he began speaking to me in Spanish and tried to justify the chefs actions. After the server spoke to him, the chef put on the same gloves he had been wearing to make other food and I just felt disgusted seeing that. Ended up getting up and leaving which sucks because I eat there all the time and the food is always great. I just always sat somewhere that I couldn't see the kitchen or chef, but today I sat at the bar so I could see the his unsanitary behavior.
