I’m feeling this is Claremont’s best kept secret and it shouldn’t be. Let’s be honest, not much going on in terms of food scene in Claremont so I’m rating this my number one. The ambiance is so warm and welcoming. I love the decor. Staff….say less…..they are amazing and know everything on the menu. The manager, Patrick, definitely a true gem. He came around to every table. Great for large parties and kid friendly. Menu has everything for any palate. They have a full bar with a great cocktail selection. They give complimentary bread such as garlic rolls with also a selection of a sweet bread of the day. We started w the parm garlic truffle taters. I had the tuna lo mein bowl that could have fed 3 people. Husband had the chicken Mexican style. Located behind the Inn. Parking seems limited but don’t let that deter you. We will definitely be back as we had such a wonderful time. Food was excellent.

We were in town for a VFW Testimonial dinner and stayed overnight at the Common Man Inn. So we came here for dinner. Our server Courtney was very nice as was the entire staff, the manager came over to check on us which was very nice. We started with a cocktail which were perfectly made and an appetizer of mussels served in a cream sauce they were very good. For dinner we ordered the Nantucket seafood and the rabbit special. Both were excellent. We definitely recommend you stop in and check them out if you’re in the area. Cheers!

We came here for dinner and were absolutely delighted. The restaurant was very cozy and beautiful, and the staff were all very friendly and attentive.
We each had a main course and a dessert. Both main courses were cooked to perfection and very tasty. The plates were prepared with love.
The dessert was also absolutely delicious.
The price-performance ratio is absolutely right here. We'll be happy to come back again.

Although we waited about 45 minutes for a table, it was a holiday weekend and we had a party of six—plus, they don’t take reservations online—so it was understandable. The wait was comfortable, with cozy couches available and the option to grab drinks from the bar. The outdoor seating by the waterfall looked especially inviting (though we didn’t get to enjoy it due to the rain). Inside, the space has a warm, cozy vibe, blending the charm of an old mill with an upscale, lounge-like atmosphere.

Our server was friendly, attentive, and genuinely pleasant throughout the evening. He offered helpful recommendations and made us feel well taken care of. The food was solid overall.

One downside was the pulled pork mac and cheese, which unfortunately had a large, thick piece of fat mixed in that was inedible and unappetizing. Aside from that, the dishes were enjoyable. We especially loved the bread service to start—both the savory and sweet options were delicious.

A thoughtful touch we appreciated: our to-go boxes were labeled “Scooby Snacks,” which gave us a smile as we packed up a few bites for our dogs at home. To top off the evening, they offered samples of gourmet white chocolate, which was a lovely and memorable finishing touch.

For a group of six—with appetizers, entrées, and drinks—the bill came out to about $45–50 per person, which felt quite reasonable for the experience.

    This place was unexpectedly awesome.
It had an breathtaking view outside with beautiful seating on the water.
Inside he restaurant was impeccable in cleanliness and service was attentive.
But the food was amazing! I wish they had one of these by my house bc I'd eat that st■ chicken with maple cream every day of my life with zero regrets. They also offer complimentary cheese and crackers and bread whichh I found to be a nice touch. The drinks were also exceptionally made.
I will say service is a bit slow so don't go if you want a quick bite, but with the views and atmosphere why would you want to rush anyway?
