  This place has great baked goods and coffee, the interior is outdated and dingy, and there's no hvac so the whole place smells like food, and then when you leave you smell life food. It's probably not up to health code.
  
  If you updated the interior, got a simple vent over the cooking are and added modern lighting and some music it would be 5/5.
  
  That being said the food and coffe and 9/9.

  Oh my goodness, when I say that I had an incredible experience here, I mean it! I don’t drink coffee very often, so I wasn’t very educated on what to order —but Camille, one of the baristas, was downright amazing! She was patient, kind, and very polite, taking the time to help me figure out am order I’d enjoy. Her recommendation was on point, and I LOVED the Iced oat-milk latte with an extra shot of espresso, half-caf, two pumps of vanilla and one pump of caramel, light ice, extra foam, with cinnamon powder on top! Thank you to The Bakery, and a BIG thank you to Camille!

  Was looking for a cozy place to grab a bite to eat going through Rutland. I landed at the bakery and was extremely happy with that decision.

  The breakfast bagel special was delicious, and lives up to my NJ bagel standards! Coffee was fresh and tasty also.

  Chose this restaurant for a light breakfast, and really enjoyed it. We ordered the breakfast special, which consists of eggs, cheese and bacon on a wheat English muffin. I ordered a regular coffee ( plenty of types to choose from) and my wife had a caramel latte. Coffees were good, and sandwiches were delicious and filling. We ate in and there was ample seating at 9 am.
