I didn’t order any food, but I did order a Berry smoothie and it was delicious! Great quality and also around $9 (compared to Cold Press around the corner with smoothies for $14). The atmosphere of the cafe is sort of like Panera Bread nothing special, but nice employees, chill music, and they have WiFi. Looks like a good place to study! Will try the sandwiches next time

Temptations CafennTraditional American cafe with solid Middle Eastern flavors.

For a while, Temptations Cafe has been my go-to spot to just chill on my off days around the neighborhood. It’s very popular in Coolidge Corner, usually packed with students studying or locals hanging out. It’s not the most trendy cafe, but the food has always been above its class.

The family behind the shop has Lebanese roots, which brings a really nice dynamic to the menu. Along with standard American sandwiches, they also have freshly grilled Mediterranean and Middle Eastern dishes that make things more interesting.

On the coffee side, they pull shots using Fazenda Roasters beans, which translates well into lattes. Fazenda typically pushes their espresso blends into a solid medium-to-dark, and while they don't have on a massive menu of flavored syrups, a straight-up regular latte was well-executed that it didn’t even need them.

Our family’s favorite go-to spot for lunch or a coffee/work date 🥪☕️💻. My husband and I take turns coming here when we have to work and it’s too chaotic at home or when we’re meeting up with coworkers. Also, a great brunch spot on the weekends when the in-laws visit, but it’s so popular on Sundays that you have to make sure to get there and grab a table before they’re all full up! Also, they start serving lemonade during the Summer season and it’s perfect for me, not too sweet and not too sour 🍋. Kudos!

Do not eat here if you have allergies! I ordered and let them know I have a tree nut and walnut allergy and I was given the chicken salad sandwich which had walnuts in it, I didn’t realize until I was having a reaction after I ate it. Thankfully I had an EpiPen but there is a total disregard for customer safety.

I was so disappointed. My panni was wet and the bread fell apart. I asked for and paid 2 for extra cheese and didnt even have enough cheese for a regular sandwich. For 15 it was the worse sandwich ever. The chai latte wasnt very good as well
