I had a pretty disappointing experience here. The service was friendly and the staff were polite, but the overall experience just wasn’t worth it. The wait time for the food was extremely slow, especially considering the restaurant didn’t seem overly busy.

When the food finally arrived, the portion size was surprisingly small for the price they charge. For what you’re paying, you would expect a much more satisfying plate. On top of that, the toast was served cold, which made it feel like the food had been sitting for a while before being brought out.

Another thing that stood out was the water—it honestly tasted like it came straight from the faucet, which didn’t make the experience any better.

Between the slow service, small portions for the price, and the quality issues, it just didn’t feel worth it. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t come back again.

First time guest and was very impressed. I was warmly greeted upon arrival and my server came quickly. She was extremely outgoing, made recommendations and was extremely professional. Wonderful personality. I got the pancake flight which allows you to choose any 3 types of pancakes. The pancakes were all delicious. Personally I wish the pancakes were a little bigger and just charge another $2-$3 so your u feel full when done which I wasn't. I love that they give you warm pure maple syrup. My order actually came out wrong but the server immediately noticed and made several offers to fix it but I was fine with it. But that she was apologetic and gave me options to correct it if I desired was exceptional customer service. All types of seating available such as booths, tables, bar and even a nice outside patio

I visited the Oak Lawn location. There was no waiting when I arrived. Parking was free, and because there weren't many people in the restaurant, parking was plentiful.

The staff was friendly, and my waiter was good.

This was my first time here, so I decided to go with one of their classic items. I ordered the Snooze Classic with chicken sausage and a biscuit.

The plating was normal for a chain restaurant. Right off the bat, I noticed the potatoes were cold. However, the chicken sausage was warm. The eggs, which some of the reviews bragged about, were nothing to write home about.

At first taste, the only thing that captured my taste buds was the warm, flaky biscuit. I thought, here is a plate full of food, and the only thing that would make this place different or would cause me to come back is the biscuit!!

All in all, this is a normal place with not too much WOW factor in terms of food!

I do want to apologize to the person who responded to my review before I completed it (not your fault). So if you look at the restaurant comment and try to match it to my review, you can't.

My husband and I ate at Snooze after finding it on Google. It was great! We were a little turned off by the way the front parking area looked and smelled (with only 2 non-handicap and 2 handicap spots, by the way - the real parking lot is in the back of the building and you walk around to the front). Once we got inside, though, our hesitation vanished. It’s such a cool, fun, retro vibe! We sat in a booth, which was comfortable even with the worn out seat cushion. Kiki was our waitress. She was very friendly and didn’t hover over us asking if we were ready to order yet, which we really appreciated. We like to sit and enjoy our coffee for a little bit before we order our food. I ordered the corned beef hash with eggs over medium and rye toast. My husband ordered the classic with eggs over hard, bacon, and substitute a pancake for the toast. It costs $5.75 to “swap” the pancake for the toast, which I thought was expensive. When we had the pancake last for our breakfast dessert, it was definitely worth it! The whole meal was great!! The restaurant got busier as time passed and it was never really loud. I don’t remember overhearing anyone else’s conversation or being distracted by another table, which is a huge plus in a restaurant. I ordered a lavender latte to go (as is - with whole milk) and it was excellent! This was a great place that we will recommend to friends!

We stopped by Snooze for breakfast while in Dallas. It was a quick walk from our hotel. We arrived around 8:45 on a Saturday morning. It was busy! We sat at the bar since there was no tables available. That was a-ok with us. We prefer the bar anyway. The restaurant gets very loud due to the number of people. The bar servers doubled as baristas so the service was slow and they weren't very attentive for coffee refills or water. The food was wonderful! They have many great choices for traditional breakfast or a healthy start to your day. Overall, I would definitely recommend. Just know on the weekend it's going to be crowded and loud and don't expect a quick in and out.
