  just a wonderful little place. i love rural diners like this. the people inside were so warm and friendly and i got my food lightning fast. the reuben i got was delicious and fresh and hot and just the perfect size. i hope i get another chance to go!

  After being on the road for 3 days, I was really looking forward to a proper breakfast....and Skate Belt Diner did NOT DISAPPOINT!
  I was immediately and courteously welcomed, seated, and received a cup of coffee within 90 seconds.
  
  The menu has a complete set of beakfast choices, making the choice hard. The $10 special I ordered was way more than I could eat (bacon, eggs, pancakes, toast, and fries), but each was fresh and delicious!
  
  Cheerful and simple inside; not too big, not too small, Slate Belt Diner was a homerun. Great, speedy service, and fantastic breakfast food!
