This is the first time that I've eaten at Sahm's, having stopped in to meet a friend for lunch. We found a place to sit and our waitress gave us menus and drinks quickly, but she then didn't return to our table for a long period of time to take our order. This is the only reason that I didn't give Sahm's a 5⭐ rating. I ordered the Parmesan Fried Polluck, fried mushrooms, and cornbread casserole, and my friend ordered the Greek Salad. Once our order was put in, our food came to our table fairly quickly given the growing amount of patrons in the restaurant. The fish and mushrooms absolutely were delicious - you could tell that they were hand battered, but the cornbread casserole had the texture of undercooked cornbread. At the end of our meal when our waitress noticed that I hadn't eaten the casserole, she offered to bring me a different side. I thanked her and ordered a side of macaroni & cheese to go. It didn't disappoint; the macaroni swirls were cheesy and rich, with the bite of Wisconsin cheddar in the blend. My friend's Greek salad was the size of a large serving bowl (but with a nicer presentation), and came with a slice of the house coffee cake. I also have to comment on the portion sizes. They were VERY generous, which was nice. Aside from slow service at the beginning of our meal, I would highly recommend Sahm's to anyone wanting delicious, good quality dishes in generous portion sizes, and at reasonable prices. Well done, Sahm's!!

I was on a adventure to find the best onion rings. It brought me here where the onion rings are battered in house with beer made by the family's companies. They are a scratch kitchen which you can tell by the taste of the food. These were the best onion rings I found so far in Indy. I also took advantage of the 10 dollar pork tenderloin special on Mondays. One of the best tenderloin sandwiches I have had. This little diamond in the rough is now added to the list of places to frequent when I am in town.

My wife's and I favorite new spot since we moved. Date night? Sahm's place? Sure. I get the stir fry everytime. Chicken, Shrimp or Steak. Or a combo. They don't have to prepare your meal in processed oils. A bonus for me personally. She's had the sizzling chicken more than once. She always orders the honey brussel sprouts and of course I'm stealing some. Lol

All this time, I’ve driven by Sahm’s but never stopped in. I finally got to do so very recently.

Came at around 6 PM on a Friday and they were a little busy but we managed to get a table. Our waiter was SUPER friendly and attentive to our table.

We participated in the Devour Indy menu and started out with the Brisket Cheddar Balls as an appetizer. Those were really good! I then got the Chicken Velvet soup which that was tasty as well.

I then got the Fried Walleye Hoagie with fries as my entree and overall, I was impressed! The fish was fried perfectly and was crispy, the fries were pretty great as well.

Overall, if you’re driving along Keystone looking for a great local spot, Sahm’s hits all the marks! I’ll be back.
