It was a wonderful experience actually. Some reviews for the place made me iffy with pricing. But it's a restaurant at the base of the mountain. If lift tickets are pricy so is food. So people who are reviewing keep saying the food was expensive... It was normal pricing for were the restaurant is at and the ambiance with also amazing food. I got the smash burger and garlic fries. My boyfriend got the braised chicken with mash potatoes. Both amazingly delicious. We got the maple crcrème brûlée and the chocolate tarte cake. It was beyond what i imagined. The waiters was very helpful thoughtful and friendly. If your staying at lodges on the mountain. I highly recommend going here at least once. Come in the middle of the week and it's not busy at all. Do a reservation for busy weekends though. Worth trying out espically if your hungry and want a different experience.

We really coming here, either for apres ski drinks and appetizers or dinner (heavy meals or salads all yum). Good for sitting outside during summer and cozy in the winter. Can’t go wrong.

Was underwhelmed by lunch here…was fine, just nothing to rave about but was pleasantly surprised by dinner. There’s obviously not much around so slim pickings in Sugarbush…I thought the dinners were hearty and welcome after a long day of skiing. I had the meatloaf which came with lots of mashed potatoes. My son the steak frites which was a good portion and my other son the smash burger. Decent beer selection on tap and nice apres ski environment.

Thursday night is sushi night. Many sushi options plus regular menu. Sushi is very good!

Ļ loopn1/1/2022 for dinner. We were pleasantly surprised. The Autumn Bounty salad with honey mustard dressing was very good. Plenty for two to share. Both pasta, Wild Mushroom Pappardelle and Pumpkin Squad Ravioli, were in cream sauce. A non-cream based option would be nice. Cheesecake and key lime pie were both made in-house and very good.

Communication with the restaurant is difficult (impossible). No one answers the phone and no answering machine. You are directed to the website for reservations, which doesn't work and you are told to call the restaurant.

Visited again on 11/20/21. New menu! The kale Caesar is great. Loved the tuna tartare. Highly recommend the shrimp and grits. Both desserts - blueberry cheesecake and choc mousse cake are very good.

Ordered takeout online. The brussels were good but a little salty. Rumbles Greens salad was a good size for sharing. Lots of great flavors. The polenta and the gnocchi were okay. A whoopie pie is sharing size and just okay - more like biscuits than cake, dry and crumbly. Wine by the glass $15. A lot of outdoor seating and fire pits. Will try again, ordering differently.

Our go-to spot for dinner for every Sugarbush trip. We've never popped in for breakfast or lunch, so I can't speak to those menus. However, I get the Mediterranean Bowl every dinner because it's just that good. Their Maple Crème Brûlée is also to die for. We always get the best service here and the room itself is big and beautiful with a great view of the slopes. A must-try! Plus, as others have mentioned, the restaurant is named after the cutest Bernese Mountain Dog who is prominently pictured on the wall as soon as you walk in.
