★ 4I haven’t been here since the early nineties. I live in Western Mass and back in the day would come into Boston regularly. At least a few times a month we would have breakfast here. This is 2026 and the ambience is still quite understated elegance. As usual I had the eggs Benedict. They are still excellent. And, of course, the Parker House rolls at the place they were invented. Always a special pleasure. My friend had a basic breakfast and was also very happy. Again as always the service was impeccable. I’m glad I revisited an old favorite and will be back.

★ 5Such a beautiful historic place! The food was amazing. I think I'm good at making rolls, but theirs are great. I enjoyed the Waldorf salad and Boston Cream Pie too. I'm so glad that this was part of our Boston trip.

★ 4I tried the Boston cream pie (4/5) here, and while the flavor was decent, it wasn't particularly memorable or distinctive, and was quite small. What truly stood out, however, was the overall ambiance of the place. The hotel boasts a really nice vibe, making it a pleasant and enjoyable spot to relax and unwind. I appreciated the comfortable setting, which definitely enhanced the experience beyond just the dessert.

★ 4Old school hotel restaurant with white table cloths. We came for the boston cream pie and it did not disappoint. This restaurant is apparently where this dish was created. It was a little light on the cream filling but the cake was good and almond coating gave a nice bit of texture. This restaurant is full of history and definitely worth a stop if you are in the area.

★ 4Beautiful space with comfortable seats. Their one dessert, the Boston creme pie, is nothing short of amazing and one of the best desserts I've had. Food is okay. You know how some places try to get fancy and horseshoe around to not very tasty? Anyway. Would return anytime.
