★ 5The place was phenomenal. The food, the staff, the drinks, the atmosphere. Bloody Mary's, strawberry mojitos, and apple cider toddies were killer. I can not imagine why anyone would give this place anything less than 5 stars... Well worth the 1hr wait on a Saturday morning, make a reservation atleast a day in advance, but still expect a wait.

★ 5Literally, the BEST Breakfast I have ever had! I apologize that all the pictures I am sharing are half eaten because I couldn't help myself. Robyn the owner is the salt of the earth! She is such an amazing business person and was working in the kitchen while we visited. The meat lovers omelette was spectacular. My blueberry pancakes were out if this world. In addition, they give you complimentary banana bread, which had no nuts which I love and was sooo moist.
In fact, the banana bread was so good, I drove back and grabbed two whole loafs.
The blood orange mimosa was very tasty. The food and service was top tier. Our server had a wonderful disposition and the coolest mashup accent from Revere, MA and Long Island, hilarious.
I can't wait to go back to North Street! Keeping kicking but North Street. I'll definitely be back soon! -

★ 5Went for brunch on a busy Sunday after spending the weekend in Boston for an anniversary. We almost didn’t go, knowing it would be super busy on a Sunday at 10:30 am. However we waited just about 15 minutes and were sat! It’s definitely cozy and tables are close together but that doesn’t really matter when the food and service are as great as they were. Drinks came within 5 minutes of ordering and food around 15 mins. Our server was attentive and sweet. Food was AMAZING! Drinks were a 10/10. I got a Maple Martini with chicken and waffle sliders and my partner got a mimosa flight and a short rib hash Benedict. They were perfect. So glad we waited the short time and got to try this place out!

★ 5Visited Boston for the first time and read great reviews about this place so we decided to check it out. Visited on a weekday around 9am. Greeted quickly and seated. Super attentive server and friendly. Gave suggestions when we werent sure which item to choose. We had 4 in our party and we ordered 5 dishes. The french toast sticks are like no other french toast sticks we have ever had. Highly recommend to share! Waffles, breakfast tacos, breakfast burritoes and pancakes were all a hit. Portions were good and we all had some leftovers. Place isnt huge - so I would assume during a busy time there could be a wait - but it would definitely be worth it. We will definitely be back!

★ 5Let’s talk about it.
TikTok said, “Go.”nBoston said, “Bet.”nMy arteries said, “Are you sure?”nAnd honestly? Worth it.
We walked up to North Street Grille and immediately noticed how small and quaint it was. Cozy. Intimate. The kind of place where you either get lucky with timing… or you’re standing outside watching everyone else eat. We got there just as a table of four cleared out. Divine alignment.
We were asked if we had reservations (didn’t even know that was an option), but Alana — our waitress — stepped in with energy that could power the North End. She happily sat us, dropped the menus, and gave us a moment.
Did we look at them?
Absolutely not.
By the time she returned, we had talked through half of life and none of the menu. But when she mentioned fun breakfast drinks? That was it. Order discipline left the chat.
We started with:
A gingerbread hot chocolate (holiday in a mug — topped with whipped cream and a little gingerbread friend perched on the side)nA bourbon banana milkshake (dangerous. Creamy. Grown.)nA mimosa flight (because moderation is subjective)nAnd then the food arrived.
The bourbon French toast was thick, golden, lightly crisp on the outside, soft and custardy inside. Powdered sugar snowfall. Warm syrup. Sweet but balanced. Paired with that bourbon banana milkshake? Listen. That combo needs supervision.
The short rib hash? Rich, tender, deeply savory. Crispy edges, melt-in-your-mouth beef, perfectly seasoned. Not dry. Not greasy. Just indulgent in the way brunch should be when you’ve decided calories don’t count before noon.
We also ordered:
Classic French toast (executed flawlessly)nThe famous burrito pancake (sweet and savory in one bite — chaotic but intentional)nAnd then — without warning — complimentary banana bread hit the table. Warm. Moist. Soft crumb. A subtle sweetness that didn’t scream for attention but still made its presence known. See photos for texture.
Everything came out hot. Everything was plated well. No long wait between courses. No forgotten refills.
But let’s talk about Alana.
Her energy was so vibrant we genuinely thought she was the manager or owner. She wasn’t. She just loves what she does — and it shows. Attentive without hovering. Engaging without forcing it. She matched our energy and elevated it.
That matters.
Would I go back?
Without hesitation.
Date night brunch? Yes.
Friend trip must-stop? Absolutely.
Solo sit-at-the-bar and romanticize your life moment? Also yes.
This isn’t a quiet, diet-friendly oat bowl situation.
This is robust. Flavor-forward. “Loosen your jeans” brunch.
Boston, you did not disappoint.
Eat at your own risk.
But go hungry.
