  First time here. I've eaten at the other parent's place. LOLnnIt was a nice place to stop in for breakfast. The staff and management are home town friendly. I saw a waitress hugging a regular customer, which is nice. Barbara G was friendly and attentive with a really nice smile. The other servers pitched in with checking on me. The ham and cheese omelette was good the coffee was good. Funny to see wonder bread. I grew up with that.

  First visit, will be back. Everything was great. We highly recommend all that we tried, see pics. Cannoli, banana pecan Carmel pancakes and the bestest the peanut butter choc chip French toast.

  We have been to Tampa five times and each time we make it a point to stop at Moms z place. Great food…. Just like you might find in a small Midwestern town. Also supposedly George Steinbrenner spot to eat lunch.

  Ordered banana caramel pecan pancakes, because someone else raved about them. I was given a slightly under cooked, unripened banana, down the middle of my pancake. Husband’s meal was very mediocre as well. The pancake also tasted funny, either from whatever oil was used; or the grill needs better cleaning.

  Good value. Food was adequate. Service excellent. Need to ask for real butter. Coffee was good not excellent.
