★ 5I want to eat here every morning! Love the atmosphere. It’s got a friendly, neighborhood diner feel to it. In a historic split level house. The kitchen is on the higher level, so you can see them cooking. Order at the counter, then seat yourself. Small menu, but it’s delicious! Great biscuits.

★ 5Holy crap so worth the stop. Probably ranks top 5 dine out breakfasts of my life, wish I could try more of the menu. Feels retro, but a little less cozy than I expected with how wide open the main dining room is. But with food this good, who cares. A bit of a wait, but with how much I’d heard about this place I kinda went in expecting that. Friendly service once it is your turn.

★ 3Nicely situated spot within the hustle and bustle of magazine street a.k.a the Didsbury of New Orleans.
We came in a group of four. Two of us got the chicken biscuit sandwiches and the others got a Caesar salad and another thing I can’t remember. General vibe was salty- Marine levels. I can hack salt, in fact for me it is preferred, but this was threshold salt personally. The others found their food all too salty, having not finished their food and encouraged a lower review.
The prices were good, service fast. It’s possible that we’re just British and not used to the food here (likely)- so take this review with a pinch of salt (but don’t add it to your food).
The restaurant is laid out like a children’s play area. Interesting vibe but I imagine this makes it particularly friendly for children!
The merch also looked very good, but unfortunately the nicer items were only in stock in XL. -

★ 5The fried chicken sandwich could make a frog jump up and get happy in Jesus! It is covered with a spicy sauce. Best fried chicken I've ever had!!!
The staff was very friendly and answered any questions I had about the menu. The decor included lots of vintage toys, a trip down memory lane for Baby Boomers. The building is unassuming, tucked away in the Garden District. Just as good as any pricey place in NOLA. -

★ 2Staff were nice and atmosphere was good. Didn't think that 3 breakfast sandwiches with egg and 3 coffees should come to $60 especially since we had to order before sitting, get our own utensils and napkins. Was not a fan of being charged 15% on top of everything just because. I think the experience was good for a 1 time ordeal but I don't think I would go back.
