  Just your typical regular McDonald’s. Sometimes we do takeout and sometimes we eat in when they are busy. The takeout line could take a little bit as usual. The employees are usually super friendly. The bathrooms are usually clean too if you’re driving to Bar Harbor and need some food for the little ones come get your chicken nuggets here there is not another McDonald’s on the way to Mount Desert Island.

  We doordash and order food from this location sometimes. We were doordashing today and had an order for 4 items. It took them over 40 minutes to get the order out and they didn't expedite it at all. Moving as slow as possible, acting nonchalant and just overall not doing their jobs. Not to mention, they didn't use gloves when handling our customers' food!! Absolutely disgusting work ethic.

  My first real American McDonald’s experience, I see that the stores are modern as in Europe I expected the vibe to me more original but I guess we all need to follow the technical developments with the self service kiosks. BUT the Happy Meal Menus are better, you can have a mini makets. So cool!

  They often forget to put something in a takeout order. I try to check right away. But this time I didn't. I picked up my takeout order 15 minutes ago and didn't check. And again, this terrible service!!! My nuggets weren't in my order!!! I wonder why this happens so often here??? Unfortunately, I'm already far from the establishment and don't have time to go back. This is very annoying. So be careful and don't trust the employees, otherwise you might end up missing part of your order.

  For the store and McDonald's as a corporation.
  How do you in good faith advertise your food as something that it is not close to. I ordered a #4 deluxe. The pic on the right is an advertisement and the left what I received!
  You would think that with the money they make they could at least sell us what they advertise. Staff is friendly but as they said (nothing they can do)
