★ 4We stopped by the Main St Cafe for lunch at 2 on a Saturday afternoon. On one side they serve homemade ice cream and the other is a 9 small table cafe with a bar that sits 8. I say this because I wouldn’t recommend them for a larger group. Our party of 2 had a 15 minute wait.
I consider myself a connoisseur of the Thanksgiving sandwich. I made them every year after our Thanksgiving dinner. So I was very excited that they had it on the lunch menu. They make it with turkey, a homemade stuffing and a Cranberry mango on a seven grain sandwich. I wish I had be paid closer attention to the fact that they grill it also. I was not a big fan. However, when I go back and I will, I will ask for the same sandwich,, ungrilled. My boyfriend got the BLT on white and he really did enjoy it. All that they went with them with corn chips. The star of meal was the homemade freshly squeezed lemonade. It was only a dollar more than soda so it was four dollars, but I would recommend that every time you go.
As for the staff, there were only two waitresses and they worked their tails off. There was one that was very friendly and another who was all business, but she did a great job in serving us.
As I said, we will go back and maybe get the ice cream next time. -

★ 4We were on a short driving tour around the Berkshires and spent one day in Stockbridge. We visited Rockwell Museum and the went to Main Street Cafe for lunch. We were have a year ago and wanted to go back. We had a half sandwich and soup and BBQ pork sandwich. Very delicious food. Nice service. Very country store atmosphere.

★ 5Delicious perfectly cooked Blueberry Pancakes with Mixed Berry Compote. Pancakes were thick, yet soft & NOT Overcooked. The compote was rather thin, but easily soaked into the Pancakes making them Delicious - no need of any syrup. Coffee was excellent too. Atmosphere was loud, but that does not take away from the great service & excellent pancakes...

★ 5I’ve had a lot of breakfast burritos and i’m always in search of the best. Out of all the ones I’ve had from NY, to Maine, to Newport RI and even the Cape/Nantucket, the corned beef hash burrito with a side of hollandaise here is by far THE BEST. I’d travel up from Long Island just to get it!n1,000 stars!! Well worth the weight gain

★ 3No potato chips was a bit disappointing especially since I enjoy them with a sandwich. They only have tortilla chips and I have a corn and wheat intolerance. They did have gluten free bread and the sandwich I ordered was good- was a special and there was no problem with adding/making changes. The waitress was very personable.
