  Highly recommend this place for smash burgers, bacon-wrapped cheese curds, and a super family-friendly atmosphere.
  
  Mac’s Diner is hands-down our favorite spot to visit when we’re in the metro, we even bring all our out-of-state friends and family here because it’s just THAT good.
  
  On our last visit, our waitress Veronyca truly stood out. She was attentive, kind, and amazing with our 10-year-old daughter, making us feel completely at home.
  
  This place is absolutely worth the trip.

  I drive by this restaurant every Sunday on my way to and from church. We stopped by for brunch on a Saturday. The place was packed. That’s always a good sign in my opinion. We had a little bit of a wait but not too bad considering how busy they were. The service was A+. The omelette was well prepared. The truffle aioli was not exactly to my taste but that’s on me, not them. Overall the food was really good and will definitely return. Only 2 small things, my granddaughter got a raspberry lemonade. It was in a super small tumbler. I would say about 6oz and was never asked if she wanted more. Not a huge deal and we could’ve asked for more. Second, there were a couple staff members smoking right next to the outdoor dining area. It looked like kitchen staff the way they were dressed. It smelt bad and is not a great look for the restaurant. I do want to point out that no one was sitting out there but we did have to walk past them a couple times to get to and from the front door.

  Good service (except the waitress forgot about us at the very end).
  Nice vibe. Clean restaurant.
  The food is the problem. Everything was overly well done. The fries were crunchy, they’re supposed to be a little crispy or even soft. They were brittle. The burger patties were past well done, the edges were burned char black with an ashy flavor. The bacon was crunchy and rocky. The caramelized onions were dry. The cheese was fine and the bun was toasted fine. I saw this place on Facebook as they had a “bad breath burger” but am overall disappointed. Whoever runs the kitchen should stop overcooking everything.

  EXCELLENT food... I absolutely love and crave and think about their spinach and artichoke dip! I get it every time I go there and it never disappoints.It is fabulous! Everything on their menu taste delicious... Because of all of that , sometimes there is a wait to be seated , especially on a Sunday and especially if you have a party larger than four people... Oftentimes , they do not staff for the crowd , and I feel sorry for their servers always running , and looking over whelmed. To the owners, you have delicious food.I bring my family here when they come out of town, please treat your staff with respect and hire more folks to work there. You are always busy and they they look Overworked, exhausted 😩

  I've gone for breakfast, lunch, and dinner multiple times. My husband and I love going for their burger of the week. Their happy hour specials are also great! We love getting their cheese curds if we make it in time for happy hour! They've got a great patio for when the weather is nice too!
