This place is awesome! I ordered my husband's birthday cake from here and it was SO good! He loved it. And they decorated it with a cute National Park design. While I was there picking it up we treated ourselves to breakfast sandwiches and some delicious coffee drinks too. Cannot recommend this place enough! Wish I lived close so I could go more often!

Lu’s Cafe has become my go-to breakfast spot most mornings! My absolute favorite is the breakfast bánh mì on a croissant, it’s seriously so good. The croissant is buttery and fresh, and everything always tastes perfectly made. Great coffee, friendly service, and such a cozy vibe. Definitely one of my favorite local spots!

This is a fantastic spot! Second time here in a week because I enjoyed the first visit so much (and just happened to have jury duty down the street)nnThe comfortable seating, decor, and specifically kids books/toys make the ambiance perfect for hanging out.

Really enjoyed the Vietnamese coffee, Pernil and Bahn Mi breakfast sandwiches!

What a hidden gem of a cafe in downtown Lawrence! I've lived in here for six years and rarely venture across the bridge in the downtown area because it's not been the most welcome of areas. Nevertheless, the weather was beautiful today, the roads were quiet, and a trip to the highly rated Lu's, was in order...and it did not disappoint! The croissant was light and buttery, the boba peach tea was on point, the warm blueberry muffin was to die for, and the atmosphere was open and welcoming. Highly recommend a walk in to grab a bakery item, sandwich, or tea if you're in the area. Lu's is an awesome addition to the downtown Lawrence area and I'm totally feeling the cleanup projects, street art murals, and easy vibes that little eateries like Lu's are bringing to the area.

Decor was very spacious and nice, I wouldn't mind chilling here chatting with a friend for a few hours. They have a lot of baked goods, sandwiches, and drinks on their menu. I only got the Viet coffee. It was ok, tasted a little burnt, kinda reminded me of the taste of corn.

Service was a little awkward. Not many people waiting for their orders, no line at all. One of the workers came up to the register to see who needs to order. She kept looking around even though it wasn't that busy. I kept looking at her waiting to put in my order. Maybe Sunday mornings aren't a good time to come.

I would try other things on their menu if I'm around the area again, but I wouldn't go out of my way from another city just to come here.
