This is the first time I’ve been here and will be my last. I will say our server Gabby is an excellent server and I understood she couldn’t do anything about the situation, but she was accommodating. FIRST OFF, we waited 30 minutes before being sat which is fine. The time we placed our order and waited and got our food it was 2 hours based on my parking app which I don’t mind the wait. It was not really air conditioned as well or not well ventilated so it was hot inside the place. What I do mind though is the quality of the food was bad. Not seasoned enough. The queso dip and french fries I have no complaints. The hash brown was under seasoned and the fruit was warm and sour. They had to send back my salad the first time because the waiter noticed how wilted the lettuce was. Once I got my salad the people at my table already had finished their food. The salad was SUPER underwhelming. The chicken I had ordered was burnt. My sister complained her egg Benedict was super plain and the sauce had no flavor/seasoning. The experience was lowkey depressing cause in total we spent $86 before tip.

We had breakfast at Lula B’s Breakfast, Brunch, and Bar while visiting downtown Omaha, and the food was full of flavor.

My son and I both ordered the huevos rancheros — mine with chorizo and his with carne asada. Both plates were excellent. The ingredients tasted fresh, the seasoning was bold, and the portions were generous. My wife ordered an omelet and said it was amazing.

You can tell this is a kitchen that cares about flavor. Everything tasted vibrant and well prepared.

The only downsides were the hash browns were slightly undercooked, and the price is definitely on the expensive side for breakfast. Parking was also a little tricky because of road construction in the area, so give yourself a few extra minutes.

Overall, if you’re looking for a flavorful breakfast or brunch in downtown Omaha, Lula B’s is a great place to try. We would definitely eat here again — just be prepared for the price and parking situation.

his place absolutely exceeded my expectations. The food was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care — everything tasted homemade and comforting without being heavy. The portions were generous, the coffee was solid, and the service was genuinely friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere was cozy and perfect for a relaxed breakfast, whether you’re catching up with someone or just treating yourself. You can tell they really care about quality and consistency here. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this spot to anyone looking for a great breakfast.

The specialty tacos were phenomenal. The best taco I had in quite a while. The store looks nice too.

Took my mother for a birthday brunch and we had a lovely time. The Mimosa and Bloody Mary were well mixed they didn't overpower our food but also weren't too weak to properly taste the booze. The breakfasts were also delicious and the portions satisfying without being so large we felt st■ at the end of the meal. Service was warm and prompt. It's hard to have asked for more (except on the hot tea front- I'll skip tea entirely next time I go, though it is my normal breakfast drink; tea isn't a priority a lot of places, I won't hold it against them since evening else was so nice...) I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for a special breakfast option.
