Walking in and being welcomed with a monotone “hello” and a face that says “why are you here” when we showed up half an hour after opening, should have been our first clue. My boyfriend ordered the breakfast platter with fried chicken and I ordered the cheddar bay slider with fried chicken instead of bacon… BIG MISTAKE! The fried chicken is dark meat and was not at all what I was expecting. The meals overall were okay, but lacked flavor, thank god for all the hot sauce on the table. Also, not to mention the small sliver of metal that was on top of the chicken when they served it… like you HAD to see that when you plated it! The decor is eclectic and features some creepy clowns. The coffee was good and the jam. I wouldn’t come back or recommend this place.

Ooookay…. I learned about this place off of Facebook and thought I would check it out. It’s a nice place but very small. So there’s a good chance you’ll have to wait for a seat. There is seating outside but it too is limited. Now for the food…..Unfortunately a lot of items were sold out so my options were limited. 🙈 So I suggest getting there early. I ordered the brisket sandwich and my wife had the Love Handle plate with bacon. The food came out hot and was pretty good but the service was extremely slow. Maybe today was a bad day. If you’re in the downtown area and you want some breakfast give this place a try.

I really liked a lot of the vibenThe menu did not have a lot for me tissue from because of my food preferences. I got a turkey salad sandwich- the turkey was strange dark chunks and I am more into light meat and healthy organic options. But if you're more into fried food - you may like it.

Our new weekend breakfast spot. My protein-loving husband can’t get enough. The meats are wonderful and well-cooked. The beef tongue is the best I’ve had. The portion sizes are very generous. When we think what other places offer for the same price, this place wins, hands down. Why pay $12 for a breakfast sandwich when you could get a loaded plate for the same price? I do wish the breakfast beverage selections were a little wider, but they’re not bad. It’s a cozy place and at 9am on a Saturday we can always find a table.

Great breakfast spot after a long night out. I had the brisket potato bowl and my wife had jalapeño grits with pork belly. Everything was absolutely delicious. Had a very cozy vibe. It was a little pricey for breakfast, but they are serving a premium product, so worth it in my opinion. We'll definately be back when we're on that side of town.
