★ 5Excellent food and well kept diner. Owned and run by dad and son. Omelette was amazing. Very reasonable prices, great service and great people. This is still quite original, the grill is on the counter side and very, very clean diner.

★ 1The place was absolutely gross. Dirty, the plates, tables, seats all needed to be cleaned. Went here with a friend and wr both got stared down, if you want the business learn to smile and greet your paying customers. We got really sick from the food.

★ 5This place is underrated. It’s everything you’d hope it would be based on how it looks from the outside. Like stepping back in time. An absolutely classic diner. I took my daughter here on a daddy daughter date. The chef was Lou’s son who said he’s been working there 54 years. My daughter had a “Mickey mouse pancake” and I had eggs and toast with coffee. All of the food was good (standard diner food, granted). After breakfast the chef showed my daughter and I behind the counter and the kitchen and walk in fridge/freezer out back. That was very kind of him and she loved it. Made for a memorable daddy daughter date!

★ 5I visited Lou's for the first time while passing through Clinton. Lou's is a classic little diner with a lot of local color - something from another era. I had the over-easy eggs, bacon, potatoes with pancakes. The food was great--perfectly prepared and fresh tasting. As the diner filled up with locals for lunch, it became clear it was a local hot spot. There was a strong community spirit there.
