Food is fresh, well made, very tasty (not too sweet or too salty, although too much pepper and jalapeño for my particular taste of what I like for “spicy” but, then again, I have a boring British palate). I would describe my dish as an explosion of flavours, in the best of senses. Everything is made with care and thought, well balanced and the attention to detail is evident.
Service is excellent from the moment you cross the door to enter to the moment you cross it to leave. The vibrant atmosphere, the lively personalities of the staff, the smiles, the energy, the whole vibe made me feel like I was back in my 20s 🙂. I loved the place and will happily drive from Boston every time I fancy wholesome, homely diner food.

The bathroom here is an absolute all-timer of great american water closets. Take a seat and travel back in time to a retro living room. You're 10 years old, watching Batman on tv surrounded by your favorite Star Wars (there are only three films) action figures, plucking at a loose corner of wallpaper. You can smell your father cooking dinner, cigarette in his lips, the faint sound of other kids playing in the distance. You thought you would never be here again. But Julian's makes this moment immortal. 10/10nnBrunch was delicious. Good veggie options.

A recent Saturday brunch did not disappoint. Go early before the lines start on weekends -- and go hungry. Staff is all welcoming and attentive. Take your time browsing the huge menu! We ordered an omelet and a hash and eggs dish, with another specialty hash on the side to taste. Be sure to ask for the housemade ketchup! Prices were very fair for the quality and quantity of food. Fun and creative cocktail menu. Now about the place itself -- it's worth a visit just for exploring the decor, the wall art and memorabilia. Our tabletop was made from antique printing plates found in the neighborhood. And don't forget to go to the bathroom! Yes, my photo is one of the amazing figurine displays In. The. Bathroom. This particular street has so many restaurants to choose from, and if you can only choose one I'd recommend Julian's.

We went here to stall time before our flight. The servers were amazing! The chicken and waffles was so good and huge that I couldn’t eat it all. The pineapple mimosas weren’t that good but they were strong. Highly recommend!!

Julian’s on Broadway in Providence is a great place for brunch or breakfast. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a stylish, modern vibe that makes it feel both lively and comfortable. I especially love their smoked salmon lox bagel and the chicken and waffles—both were delicious! The menu has a nice variety, and everything we tried was flavorful and satisfying.

Service was friendly and attentive, though it was a bit slow during the busy rush. Prices are reasonable for the quality you get, and the overall experience makes it worth a visit. I’d definitely come back to try more dishes and enjoy the atmosphere again.
